End of year update!

Hey everyone! Hope you’ve all been having lovely December holidays! Things have been so quiet around here for so many reasons but I wanted to post an update about upcoming plans for WIPs and... stuff in general!

- I have a lot going on for ZINES currently!!! So a lot of my time is being spent working on those. Besides the HQ mythology zine (store now open!), I’m currently in four projects for BNHA: Soulmates zine, Regency zine, Pound Zero (R18 Bakugou zine), and now a KiriDeku zine! I’m super excited about all of these and wanna produce the best stories I can for ‘em! So I’m working really hard ^^

- But beyond that, I do have a TodoDeku longfic I’ve been quietly working on that I’m REALLY EXCITED about!!! It wasn’t... supposed to be long, but now it’s over 30k and I still have (at least) one chapter left to write for it... It’s a divergent canon story but beyond that I won’t say much. I will have a preview for it up once it’s fully completed and I’m closer to posting on AO3!

- I also have a lot of other WIPs on the back burner, as usual. HQ SEASON 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! has refreshed the KageHina bug, so I’d love to add some little things to some of my AUs~ (Not to mention a long kghn fic I’ve been writing on and off for the last 2 years... but I think I’ll still hold onto that ‘til fall gets closer...) And for BNHA I have much on my mind -- the BKDK pet shop owner/tattoo artist AU, for one! Really wanna work on more Starved and villain!Shouto too~ and RWTD verse! And just... more TodoBakuDeku in general. There’s a lot, as usual, but.... new year new fic!

- Speaking of which, I want to return to some of the collabs I was working on last year with RC! Open 24 Hours needs to get finished, and we have a lot of fun ideas stored up for Devilish! With all the stuff that imploded recently, we haven’t been able to focus on them, but we will return soon, I hope. We did do a lot of mini-collabs on our Twitter recently (you can find us @ essiecorking if you want to check them out!)

- Non writing-wise, I’ve been trying to take more breaks/relax a bit more to lessen writing stress, so I’m watching more anime again! I’m caught up on Tsurune (archery!) and Run With The Wind (long distance running!), and highly recommend both of them!!! They’re sooo enjoyable, especially if you like shows with the Haikyuu or sports anime dynamic... so many good characters and relationships! Oh, and I’ve been playing a lot of League and Battlefield V recently too, so maybe I will stream sometime on Twitch (also @ esselley)!

- I’m much more active/talkative on my twitter, and also now on Dreamwidth if anybody wants to follow me there. (RC is there as well!) It may be where I start to post more little ficlets and stuff from now on (like this TodoDeku I recently uploaded). I do like Dreamwidth quite a bit... it’s got a nice commenting system reminiscent of AO3, which makes it feel more interactive, though the community is pretty tiny XD Currently I feel more comfortable posting actual writing there than on here, so I’m gonna try to use it more!

I ended every one of these sections with an exclamation point! An achievement. Oh, I will be doing a masterpost of fics I wrote this year, which I’ll still post here. I’m looking forward to sharing more stories and more fandom excitement with you all (and next year promises to have a lot of good things)!
