#oh well at least it looks nice #seems to be a pattern for emerald fennell #kind of seems like she saw dark academia was trendy and everyone loved the secret history and figured she could do that too #everything interesting about saltburn isn't developed enough. it has nothing to say about class. even the homoeroticism is forced #why is everyone so enchanted by felix? they never tell us. what is motivating ollie? it's never developed beyond money #i just really can't tell what everyone sees in this movie i don't get it #I had the same issue with promising young woman THESE MOVIES ARE SHELLS!! THEY'RE SURFACE LEVEL!! #i mean sure it was entertaining. it was fun to watch. but that's about it. #and there's merit to that but why am i seeing people say it should win oscars. hello.
