It’s so so interesting that Kaito is motivated by rage, one of my favorite things about him and it doesn’t come up often enough-

To me Kaito is definitely an icy cold kind of fury, not a burning rage, since that contrasts nicely with the very fiery Nakamori’s and how he’s able to keep his poker face over his anger so effectively.

I want to put this man under a microscope and watch him burn💕

Kaito paled visibly and Shinichi moved a little closer to support him. “I…” He looked around the lab as though he’d be able to see through the walls, into the many basement rooms he’d never seen, behind doors and out of mind. He suddenly felt surrounded, caged in, in a basement full of Organization vampires. “Kaito,” Shinichi whispered. “It’s okay.” Kaito blinked and came back to himself, sucking in a breath. How many times had he been in this basement? They were clearly so well contained that he’d been none the wiser up until now. It was fine. Surely it was fine. Kaito nodded but couldn’t help murmuring to Shinichi, “You knew all along?” Shinichi nodded.
