Tony/Zenith & they/ey/zie pronouns. Late 20's, queer intersex tranny, far left, cripplepunk neurodivergent, always tired. I've been on the hellsite (affectionate) for 15 slutty, slutty years; this corner is my crow's nest of bizarre trinkets,
*going to a festival that celebrates what has for a long time been considered sexual degeneracy by society* Oh boy I sure hope I donât encounter anything that society views as sexually degenerate!
I need a John Wick scenario where some goon beats the shit out of one of the batkids but doesnât realize which hero they belong to. Cut to them getting home like âyeah I fucked up that little red bird guy!â and all the other goons look at him like âyou meanâŚRed Robin?â
âYeah that guy. Wait, why are you all getting upââ
Everyone knows the robins are off limits from serious beat downs. Batman will come for blood, and heâs downright superhuman when itâs about one of his kids.
"Under the new rule, which goes into effect Sept. 30, food will no longer count toward calculations for eligibility for benefits, known as In-Kind Support and Maintenance, or ISM.
The new rule means SSI beneficiaries will no longer have to worry that the groceries or meals they receive from family or friends may reduce their monthly benefits, said Darcy Milburn, director of Social Security and health care policy at The Arc, a nonprofit organization serving people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
The Social Security Administration, in turn, will no longer have to use its limited resources to document every time a beneficiary received free food and then cut their monthly benefit by as much as a third, she said."
Help Renad Majed Salim evacuate her family out of Gaza!
remaking this post because the last one lost traction. thank you first of all to everyone who helped us raise funds (from ÂŁ887 to ÂŁ1,372) but she and her family is still very far from their goal! Renad's fundraiser is vetted by Hussein here in his masterpost (her family is #128 on the list).
Renad is a 24 year old midwife who had spent the past years after her graduation working at multiple hospitals such as Al-Quds and Al-Shifa. She wants to evacuate her family of seven, three of whom have since fallen sick, and also to continue her master's degree to help more mothers and newborns. hereâs her gofundme link
I've donated ÂŁ8 to her campaign, currently Renad has ÂŁ1,380 raised of ÂŁ25,000 goal. if people can match me (or donate anywhere from ÂŁ1 to my amount!) that would be splendid!
"Don't use Libby because it costs libraries too much, pirate instead" is such a weird, anti-patron, anti-author take that somehow manages to also be anti-library, in my professional librarian-ass opinion.
It's well documented that pirating books negatively affects authors directly* in a way that pirating movies or TV shows doesn't affect actors or writers, so I will likely always be anti-book piracy unless there's absolutely, positively no other option (i.e. the book simply doesn't exist outside of online archives at all, or in a particular language).
Also, yeah, Libby and Hoopla licenses are really expensive, but libraries buy them SO THAT PATRONS CAN USE THEM. If you're gonna be pissed at anybody about this shitty state of affairs, be pissed at publishing companies and continue to use Libby or Hoopla at your library so we can continue to justify having it to our funding bodies.
One of the best ways to support your library having services you like is to USE THOSE SERVICES. Yes, even if they are expensive.

Happy Pride! Woke up to find that tumblr termed another TS woman without telling her (me) why!
For the past few months, Tumblr has been the source for the majority of my income through people sharing my leatherwork, and uhh pretty stressful to have that taken away.
I have so much I'd like to say on the ways TS women in particular are treated disposably, but I'll keep this short and say it would mean a lot both like emotionally and like materially if u shared this post so I could regain my friends and audience
My leather can be found at Pansy-Leatherwork.com. My entire shop is run on sliding scale, and I do my best to price things accessibly for the people I'm actually in community with
Uh oh gamers I'm a little bit boned (subaru for censorship but also so you all know it's definitely mine lol)
I actually managed to get it down to 900 on my own already, but I only get paid 300 bimonthly so that was like 2/3rds of my money for the next 2 weeks (and i still gotta eat)
I'm not really asking or expecting anyone to give a huge amount (I'd feel kinda bad honestly, don't push yourself!) but if I got a dollar or two from like a 16th of my followers I could probably cover it. Honestly, I feel like I could cover the around half myself by month's end, so even that much isn't necessary.
But any help would be greatly appreciated, only if you're able and willing. My PayPal is here, and I have commission links in my bio! Thank you my friends đ
edit: OP is a trans inclusive intersectional feminist. this post is not for âthe overlap between trans men and lesbiansâ (quote from a terf who reblogged this). this post is for trans lesbians, and solidarity between lesbians and trans people. TERFs and other radfems dont reblog or interact.
Sometimes dogblr is just so baffling in the best way! I rant about not being able to find aesthetic dogsledding button ups and one of you goes: âactually I can do that!â
@acutely-autistic has been working on this beautiful shirt commission for me and it came today! (Pairing it with my favorite work trousers here).
It is, in one word, perfect. From the fabric (thank you obscure Alaskan quilting website), to the perfect roominess for comfort, to the gorgeous buttons, this was everything I was looking for! Also the quality is top notch. @acutely-autistic was a joy to work with.
