I think when I was a kid, anything that would give me any sort of excitement or amusement or enjoyment, it always got kinda f*cked. You know, I don’t think my family meant to ruin it or anything like that, you know. I don’t think they did it on purpose. But I think… Sometimes they just, they try too hard. You know, or they’d make promises that they weren’t able to keep.

WARNING: POSSIBLE SHADOWBAN CAUSE

This is something some users may have experienced, but apparently, there are some cases where when people use a VPN while using tumblr, tumblr will automatically shadowban your account(s), causing your posts to not properly show up on the dashboard or have your blog not load for people, making it look like you deleted your blog. This post was not made to fearmonger, but raise awareness to something that's been consistently happening to some users.

Oftentimes the only way to undo a shadowban is to contact tumblr support or make a new blog entirely. People are still trying to pin down an exact cause, but it appears that since tumblr live is banned in some countries, perhaps a false flag was put up for VPNs..? It's impossible to be certain, but be wary when using VPNs alongside tumblr.
