This monster took me AGES, but I'm glad I got to explore lighting and how it works.

I'm proud of the outcome, and I hope I'm not missing anything from the scene, I tried to draw it as close to the description and how I imagined it as possible. Maybe I should've made her skin even more shiny? Idk

The background was PAIN bc I really couldn't find any clear image of how Hopper's cabin is inside, so I kind of invented it lmao.

Anyway, this was one of my favourite scenes, with all the flashbacks and y/n finally discovering the extent of what she can do, and that her powers do good too. Amazing.

If you haven't read @yurtletheturtlehenderson 's rewrite, I really recommend it. The talent and emotion they put into it? Honestly it will never fail to blow me away ☺️💚

I was today years old when I learned Kirby was named after the American lawyer, Jack Kirby, who defended Nintendo against Universal back in the 80s, which could have potentially destroyed them if they had lost. Wow??
