Tuunbaq HC. Scars.

I never really concretized before, so I do this now. Tuunbaq has three long and wide scars along his chest that look like traces from deep lacerated wounds. On his back, he has a few scars that look like scorch marks.  All this is the memory about that one time he was vulnerable. The prophecy was coming true, he was sick and dying, and people tried to kill him. They made a very big and deep pit (fitting to his enormous size) in the frozen ground and set long and sharp stakes there. They used tarp and snow to cover the pit and lured the tupilaq there. When he fell down and stakes began to tear his body, these humans set him on fire. They underestimated him. In pain, burning, bleeding and angry he got out and killed them all. After getting some rest and licking his wounds he came to Sedna and asked her to let him go.

                There’s    a    sigh,    teeth    chewing    on    the    inside    of    her    cheek.    Fingers    twist    the    ring    around    a    single    digit.    The    girl    is    trying    to    make    sense    of    what    he    just    said.    Was    it    a    good    reaction    or    a    bad    one    ??    “    Well…    ”    Brows    furrow    as    she    continues    to    think.    “    I-I    hope    you’re    okay    with    that.    I    just…    just    because    you    fight    for    a    living    and    tend    to…    bottle    things    up,    doesn’t    mean    that    you’re    a    bad    person,    ya    know    ??    Besides,    if    I    left,    it’d    be    pretty    hypocritical    of    me.    ”

          He was okay with that. He liked to have her around. She was beautiful and sweet, and in bed he felt better with her than with anyone before her because apparently, she liked him. She cared about him. He just couldn’t understand why. Not a bad person... What did that even mean? Things he’s been doing didn’t make him a good person either, and he didn’t strive to look like one. “I don’t know what kind of person I am.” Sometimes he wasn’t sure about being a person at all. “What do you mean ‘hypocritical’? Can you explain to me, I don’t understand. Why do you stay?” No, he wasn’t angry, he was actually curious... confused. A single pink dot in the crook of his left elbow still reminded about the injection made several hours ago. People that used so much and so often didn’t look so good, he also wondered what she thought about this. What were her thoughts about this?

He would never believe that someone like them could pass through and leave no impact.
