you could hear Vanessa searching the manor for you “come out little BRAT!” she entered the room and searched around before leaving, it got warmer as she left

now that it was currently safe, you realize you’re in a nursery of some sort. its the most well preserved room there is in this manor. there’s a picture of a child on the wall, a toy trainset on a desk in the middle of the room and you had dove under a crib.

After a moment of thinking, she decided to approach the tree. Once she got to the edge of the water, she called out. “Um, excuse me! Is someone there? I think I’m lost.”

They shake their head and show you the crown. “No but I know a short cut! Secret tunnels through the house!” They said quickly and quietly, as to not alert anyone of their presence.

They couldn’t let themselves get caught by the queen, boss has lost dwellers to her. If she can freeze spirits then they��ll have no chance against her.

The minion circles the manor “I FOUND THE CELLAR DOOR!!” You can barely hear them over the harsh winds. They waved you over while jumping to let you know they found a way.

They opened the door and waited for you.

They pointed ahead and in the snow storm you can see the manor. “I want to help because you’re one of the first kids that have a family. Usually they’re lost without a place to go, or a alien.” They continued walking “her place is up ahead. You can’t let her catch you when you’re inside. She’ll freeze you alive if you do.”

The minion pointed at the statues “them too”

The minion followed “there is no way you’re going alone!” They yelled and froze just like the village in front of you. Everything was covered in ice and snow, there were some impaled statues. They were either children or dwarves, even though you knew the answer it’s best to think dwarves.

The minion tensed up and began to walk through the village “l-let’s get this over with.” Their voice was now quiet and fearful. But they were determined to help you for some reason.

“She’s the reason we’re like this, snatcher put our deceased souls in these dolls but she killed everyone, even our boss.. “ the gestured you to follow, visibly shaking, they lead you to a broken bridge.

“She used to be a princess, she was kind and beautiful.... but something triggered her and caused her to freeze subcon village.” They stopped and sighed. “Because of her I’ll never see my pa or siblings again.”

“Boss is sending another child to the manor!?!? This can’t be right!” They paced in terror. Whoever this Vanessa person must be bad.

“Why does he even need her diary!? He already got closure!!!” They continued pacing “maybe it’s a revenge thing!?” Then they looked at you “how badly do you want to keep your soul!?”

They were energetic and seemed excited for these jobs. “Killing fire spirits, cleaning the well?! OH! I bet it’s taking care of another crazy soul.” They giggled, but it was none of those.

“Retrieve Queen Vanessa’s diary from her manor.”

Sorry but you’re stuck here until you get my little chores done. “ he cackled and straightened up “you’d better get to work if you want to leave before you reach the end of your mortal life.” And he disappeared, the surrounding spirited faded and you were back in the forest.

The minion waved, they were swinging on the noose which almost seemed like it was complaining about not being able to the the minions neck. “Hi newbie!”

A contract appeared and in a fine handwriting. Pretty much you do his chores and he takes your soul. “As long as you’re useful to me you get to stay alive, so what do you say? Kiddo.”

“YOU BLEW IT!! YOU TOTALLY SCREWED YOURSELF!! NO ONE ENTERS MY HOME AND LEAVES IN ONE PIECE!!!” The cryptid cackled, his body was long and resembled a snake, he was a deep purple, and had a long spiked up mane of fur.

“Tell you what though! Hang on a minute.” The creature stopped themselves, from their voice you can assume it’s male. “You get to live! That’s right aren’t you lucky?” He hissed out.

“Normally I’d eat your soul and toss your lifeless body, but you’re a lucky one! You won the lottery. Because I just happen to be missing a brain dead servant.” He said with a grin, his claws were clasped together and held near his chest. “A foolish child, a little like you, straight up died on the job.”

They took off running again and stopped next to a bench, right as you’re about to catch up, you are snared in a bag. You can no longer see the minion but you hear something coming close.

The bag was small and tight, and shook with each THUD. The darkness surrounded you and all you could do was struggle until the bag finally fell. Vines reached up from the ground as it did and created a dome. Spirits watched and their eyes flickered, and finally the short lived silence was shattered when a large shadow erupted from the ground.

“AHAHAHAHAHAHAAA FOOOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!”

The figure nodded and waved before running off. They ran down a large path, on the trees you could see nooses that gave off a soft blue glow. Once they made it to a certain distance, they stopped and turned around waving again.

The mysterious figure waited for you, the feeling of being watched gave you chills. This whole place did, the dead end signs gave more messages then one. However, the key to finding the escape seemed to be waiting for you down the path.

Snatcher perked up slightly and grinned to himself, he was facing away from his new victim when he disappeared into the floor. Small hooded dolls stared at you with great interest, their glowing faces against the dark hoods they wore almost looked like large yellow eyes in the dark.

They whispered amongst themselves, “a new one?” “I almost feel bad for them...” “are you kidding? This will be priceless!” “Let’s just hope they aren’t like hat kid, that’ll make the boss mad.” One of them was standing in the middle of a path, they stared at you with their hands behind their back. They were the only one not muttering about you or to you.
