Looking back

Crazy looking at shit now, I’ve by no means blown up and become a rockstar, but I’m a small Youtuber with a decent audience of a few thousand people

But I’m reflecting these days on the way I used to be

Before the Alex Turner impression before some of my vids blew up and I got shared by Radio X and all of that stuff

I remember sending messages en masse round tumblr to arctic monkeys fans, fall out boy fans, Panic! At The Disco fans asking people to check out my music 

Back then I was a pure narcissist and complete un-self aware 

I mean, to a certain degree I still am but I think I’m growing up a little lately, so if I ever annoyed you with one of those messages MY BAD I WAS 17 AND WANTED TO BE ALEX TURNER 

For those who want to know why I stopped sending messages like that, it’s quite simple, they don’t work

You make good content, fun videos, stuff people want to click on, that’s how you make an audience, not by sending mass messages so people listen to your “band” that’s really just you with an acoustic guitar ahahaha

Either way there’s still some people who support me through my Youtube that know me from those days and I really appreciate that, giving a chance to some arsehole lad who had no idea what he was doing while he figured it out a little

Sayin that, I’m still figuring shit out, so thankyou to everybody who’s supporting me and stuff

It’s strange like, I look back on those days and I feel like a completely different person now, I knew nothing and I was convinced I knew everything, these days I know nothing but I know I know nothing

That was a little ramble, but fuck it felt like typing out some thoughts, I’ll do more little posts like this chatting about stuff and telling stories if people enjoy it? Sound
