Lesser appreciated varieties of shipping:

I ship it for the sake of narrative or thematic symmetry  

I ship the idea of them, but their actually getting together in canon would ruin it for me  

I don’t ship it myself, but one of the other characters clearly does, and I’m a fan of them shipping it  

I headcanon that they were an item in the past and it ended in disaster, thereby explaining their present dynamic   

I ship it mostly because them being together would annoy a third character so much  

I ship it because nobody else does  

I’m not emotionally invested in it, but the intellectual puzzle of figuring out what bizarre sequence of events would be needed to make it happen is fascinating  

I ship it exclusively as part of a self-indulgent matchmaking fantasy where I’m the one who gets them together  

The very idea of them together disgusts and repulses me, and I’m struggling with how to phrase “hey, your fic really pissed me off” as a compliment  

I ship the AU versions of them that exist in my head, but not their canon counterparts

Koh-to-ya! I have finished making Plo Koon. ^.^ With the Opress brothers outnumbering my Jedi Plushies I thought I'd even the numbers for now. (And they could use a kind mentor, Palpatine and Dooku are not nice to the boys.)

Plo brings me to four new ones made this year, and nine total. ^.^ (This doesn't include repeats or prototypes. That number is 14. ^.^ So far only one has caused injury so I think I'm doing good so far.)

Four of twelve is awesome. ^.^ I hope I can keep on track with my goal. Shaak Ti is in the works now and hopefully, I can get her finished before I go traveling at the end of next month. As far as canon characters go I don't really have more of them planned, I may try experimenting with Ventress and her BB look but that won't be any time soon since I haven't quite figured out hair on a plush. However, I would like to try experimenting with the colors and patterns each of the species offers. If you have any suggestions for future projects (not that I really need to add more to my ever-growing list...) I'd love to hear them. ^.^ Be it plushies, outfits, mashups/hybrid characters, or even just color theory to make something from. (Zotaa and Mu happen to be color theory projects, I was given a set of two colors and made the plushies after. ^.^) I love that these have gotten some love since posting them here. ^.^ (It makes me happy to have the notifications even if there isn't a message along with it.) “I didn’t want to waste [Mark Hamill as a voice actor on The Clone Wars]. He talked to me a couple times, he even came to when we were voice recording one day–nothing to do with him!  He just came into the room and he’s like, ‘When am I gonna be in this Star Wars show?’

“And I told him, ‘I want to use you, absolutely, but I want to have a role for you. That I think is worthy of you and something you’d be interested in. I don’t want to just bring you in [to bring you in].’  And when I had this opportunity, I thought what a great, bizarre reflection, to have Mark play the ultimate side of good and light, and then the father of old and ancient evil.

"He was super excited about that opportunity and Mark does evil characters so well!  And I actually had him record it two different ways, he used two different voices and then I had Matt Wood and Dave Acord them layered on top of one another, so there’s one type of voice that’s underneath the other type of voice that’s over top, so it’s always fluctuating and changing.”
