Oh, I love strategy games too! What’s your favourite kind? Have you played Fire Emblem?

Hmm, really? To be honest, I don’t like rhythm games. They’re kinda stressful! Strategy games are my forte.

I don’t mind being bumped into, but it’d be nice to see your face first, instead of the back of your head! Haha.

Oh, this game’s known for being loud. It’s a rhythm game, so the music has to be loud. We actually have a version of this game in the states! It has a translated name, though. I don’t know what it’s called in Japan!

[ Noticing that it was Tucker behind him made him relieved, yet slightly flustered by their second meeting being similar to the first. ]

I suppose so, yes…! Let’s try to not make it happen every time, though…

[ He catches Cato, his hands on both of Cato’s arms. He seems amused that, yet again, Cato bumped into him. ]

Must we always meet like this?

[ He laughs, and lets go of Cato, letting him turn around. ]

Are you okay? You got really spooked!

[ Supposedly alone, Cato was taking his time to view the arcade that the park had held. The loud sounds that it made were scary, but…nobody else was here. It would have to do. He needed a way to keep himself busy. ]

Hmmm….

[ He pressed a button on a quieter machine before him, seeing if it worked. The machine reacted in a roar, suddenly blaring music and making Cato almost squeak in surprise, falling backwards and into a person behind him. ]

O-Oh….! I’m….sorry….I–didn’t see you there…!

Oh! Karate? I’ve never done martial arts! How much do you remember? Can you teach me something?

[ He bounces back fast, it seems. He’s back to his bright-eyed and bushytailed self, excited again. It’s clear he bears no ill will toward Lucky for her outburst. ]

well i mean.. you did, but i’m good. it’s all good. it’s in the past. i really can’t believe i yelled so loud over that. i’m so sorry..

but, anyway, no, can’t say i have! i’m sure he really appreciates the protecting, unlike some people..! [ god just let it go, lucky! ] hey! but since you’re offering to protect people, you’ve gotta have someone to watch your back! 

[ she puts her fist into her palm and grins up at him. ] i was in karate for, like, a week when i was a kid!

Consider it forgotten! Ha... I was scared that I had really upset you. Just so you know, I offered to protect a boy too. He was really upset and scared, so I told him I’d keep him safe. His name is Cato. You met him?

… ah! oh my gosh, i’m.. so sorry i yelled i… got a little bit riled up back there… of course you’d want to protect your friends because they’re your friends i… i completely misunderstood! oh boy.. i’m embarrassed…

#well; if you're sure. #if you get bored just tell me and i'll stop! #i was born and raised in conneticut; usa. #every summer i'd go up to my grandparent's farm in canada and work on their farm. #i'd help plant and harvest crops and spent a lot of quality time with the animals! #for as long as i can remember; i've been good at sports. #it started with simple stuff; like playing catch or running around. #my parents noticed how good i was at that stuff; and encouraged me to keep doing it.

there’s no way that anyone in their right mind, especially the kids that have been accepted into such a prestigious school, will murder anyone! even attempt to murder anyone! i firmly believe that i won’t need any protection! ever! and anyway…

We’re all from Hope’s Peak, so I’m sure we’re all teenagers! You don’t hear teenagers murdering people on the news a lot. It’ll be fine, Lucky! You know what?
