WEEK 5

Honestly I would agree that this first attempt was okay ....concept wise HAHHAHA but I do feel that this proposal gave me a form of vision of what is to come! Maybe it would work for my DFT core module installation hehe. But overall those humans drawing looking ugly and scribble does not help making it nice. It should be properly photoshopped using and properly drawn to better give visual to your audience/client.

White Essence of MUJI  #Week 4 & 5

Assignment 2. Proposal

Project Title & Concept description: White EssenceRetail Brand:MUJIDescription:MUJI is known for being uniformity, basic, value and complete. The idea revolves around the title White Essence,to evoke and express the simplicity of daily life. It will be a digital screen installation placed maybe at the front of the entrance or even as they step in? The ideation involves touch sensors or interactive media that can be compatible with the mood and feel of the store experience as they enter.I could also implement/use the essence of the store smell to elevatethe experienceand in hopes to promote feelings or satisfaction of the brand.“They strive not to be the best, but just enough”.

Side note lol, i just love MUJI, anything minimal and simple just makes me want to experience it more HAHAHAH

WEEK 3 (Software Introduction)

Of experimenting with and old video stash of mine when I was in HongKong and a sunset video of my home, compose it using touch designer to achieve this weird yet cool looking butterfly effect :) And omg this software makes me wanna cook steak on my macbook. Overall had fun using this software. Made this

WEEK 1 & 2 (Installation Hunt)

A Machine Boosting Energy into the Universe by Korakrit Arunanondchai

An exhibition centres around the artist video installation “Painting with history in a room filled people with funny names” The environment and mood inside the room caught my attention of how post-apocalyptic it was and there were many discarded auto parts. As i walked around, there was a huge installation like building which had a mix of techno futuristic feel to it and as i sat down to watch the 25 min video there life-sized cyborg mannequin sitting and standing around me. Even the mannequin was well dressed for the event i would say. This exhibit caught my attention in terms of how i am able to enjoy and be able to interacted with the installations.
