I need the upper left and lower right chihuahua...

I think it’s weird that they’ve never released the white Mameshiba San Kyodai chihuahua, Sugar, in the standing pose. I wonder if maybe Sugar’s head is too heavy with the ears, so she falls over in the standing pose - I notice these new chihuahuas have stocker bodies.

Here’s Amuse’s next wave of items, set for a July release. Once again, no new alpacasso >__>;; Looking at their release trends, apparently dogs and rainbow items are their biggest sellers?

Sorry if this is random but I thought I'd ask someone who may know. I bought a big sitting alpacasso from japanimals, and I just noticed that it has a metal hook on the back of its head. It's that normal...?

Long time no post! But my collection has been growing steadily. Did you know that the latest "Dream" release of Mameshiba Sankyodai are different colors from their usual manifestations? Mametaro, Mamejiro, Mamesaburo, and Sasuke are all paler, brown-eyed versions of their normal selves - hence my justifying their addition to my collection as "different" characters. ☺ I don't currently have every single character - there's a Boston terrier on the AMUSE online shop I have my eye on; plus they're releasing a new pup in the next few months - a girl shiba.

♡ Handwashing Alpacasso ♡

Hi, guys! Meet my newly-washed 12cm ball of fluff, Nimbus! ♡ I bought him from an online plush store. When I had received him, though, I noticed that he looked a bit grimy, especially his muzzle. I hesitated washing him since I have read a lot about clumping and piling of alpacasso fur after either handwashing or machine-washing, yet I still gave it a go. To this day, I have been washing my ‘pacas with absolutely no problem. ♡

Behold! Here is how I manage to bathe my lil ones squeaky-clean while still maintaing the orginal texture and shine, just like brand-new! ♡

YOU WILL NEED: 

laundry basin

Johnson’s & Johnson’s baby shampoo

a clean towel/washcloth

blowdryer (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Fill your laundry basin with water just enough to submerge half of your ‘paca lying on its side. (Avoid using heat! I use cold tap water.)

Add a couple of drops of J&J Baby Shampoo into the water and mix/dilute it with your hands. Once the water starts to bubble, it’s good to go. (Avoid using too much of the shampoo, as it will be harder to wash off. It might also damage the texture.)

Carefully submerge your ‘paca into its bubble bath. Press on its body GENTLY with your hands in a CPR motion. You will begin to see the grime in the water. (Avoid squeezing it as it might lose its shape.)

Use your finger to clean its eyes and muzzle. This section is very delicate, so gently run a soapy finger along the muzzle and eyes to remove any dirt. (Unless absolutely necessary, try not to squeeze the muzzle.)

After cleaning it thoroughly, discard the murky water and fill it up again with clean water of similar amount. Submerge your ‘paca into the clean water and wash off the soap using the CPR motion with your hands. Once the water begins to bubble, drain and change the water again. Repeat this process until the water remains clear. (Again, do not squeeze the soap out of it! It will lose its shape.)

Take it out of the basin and use a clean towel to pat and soak up the water from its body. Your lil one should now be smelling and looking great! ♡

This part is optional, but you can use a blowdryer to speed up the drying process. YOU SHOULD ONLY USE THE COLD/COOL SETTING OF THE BLOWDRYER. Heat is never a good idea for plushies.

Let it dry lying on its side on a clean, dry towel. After a few hours, flip it to the other side. Once it is fairly dry, take them outside under the sun (to sunbathe and) to dry completely. (I don’t take them out to the sun immediately because when plushies are wet, more dirt can stick to them especially when outdoors; that’s why I let them dry a little bit first in the house.) 

*Do take note to remove the tags and ball chains (if BC type) prior to bathing your ‘pacas. Also, do not scrub on the fabric tags, as the tags might fade.

@donewithinpiniteu Here are some of the most recent Kotori Tai releases and an upcoming one! Otaku Mode hasn’t carried new Kotori Tai releases in quite some time. My impression was that they didn’t sell as well as other AMUSE series...however, they seem to be incredibly popular in Japan, where new releases get pumped out faithfully every month. They nearly always have at least one or two new bird species in their lineup as well.

AMUSE still makes a ton of Kotori Tai - they are extremely popular in Japan though they don't seem to have caught on over here as much.
