Crossover AU where Elizabeth Swann meets Elizabeth Bennet and they have the same most uncanny resemblance?? How much fun chaos could that cause?

Margaret’s expression softened empathetically, noticing his latest injury. She glances to her hand held so gently. And then, at such words she was so taken aback, speechless. Her eyes snap back to try and meet his once more.
“No, it is not foolish.” she assured almost breathlessly, and returning a gentle squeeze of her hand in his, “Because, I too can speak to the same trust of my life in your hands.” For all his deeds of death, he did also save her life before.
“And if there is any way I can offer a place of sanctuary for you to rest, I will.” What I would do if I could help you retire from this way of life. “Is there anything I can get you?”

“ … Ian … can I trust you …? ” a peculiar question to ask when she’s already so blindly trusted him in the past. But a desperate mother will do whatever desperate deed for the sake of those closest to her. // hi!!! I missed these two!

“Ian?”
The clerk hums lightly as he raised his head from his handkerchief… it lightly stained a beautiful crimson. Though hid the magnificent color behind his threatening black leather gloves.
“What ever happened to… Mr. Mercer? But it is a nice change! I enjoy it so.” He chuckles.. trying to tone down the urgency just a little as he scooted to the front of the seat to look at her.. his playful gaze slowly beginning to harden.. to one much more harden and frightening…
“You may trust me with anything, dear Margaret…” he muttered under his thick accent… leaning ever so close.

Who is more likely to ask for help ( ship: Margaret & Jones)
Tumblr media
If you count Margaret's delegating and turning to others to accomplish something as "asking for help" in general, then she would be the answer. Also since she would guarantee be the one asking Davy for help when it comes to anything with ship navigation.
But I think Davy has his fair share of turning to Margaret for different kinds of help (support, someone to talk to, even someone who has the ability to go on land) they even out :3

"Good afternoon, mah dear Margaret- uh!" Davy teleports in with quite possibly the warmest smile upon his tentacled face. An almost human smile that was only reserved for her of course.
(HELLO IT'S BEEN A CENTURY HOW ARE YOU TOBI? I MISSED YOU, LIZZIE AND MAGGIE!)

"Davy!" As though awoken from a long and deep slumber, the Widow turned to see her Sea Wolf. She returned a bright smile, and runs over to him, "Why, it almost feels like ten years and a day, how happy I am to see you!"
(MEGAAAANNNNN! HELLO HELLO! ITS BEEN FOREVER! I AM GOOD THANKS AND YOU? I'VE MISSED YOU AND DAVY SO MUCH!)

Such personal informality even for the model of proprietary that Margaret is. Was it on purpose, or a slip of the tongue? Or was it her own form of trust to allow speaking on a first name basis? “It is fitting now, I suppose~”
There was the familiar playfulness, when wits matched wits, but it quickly faded as she saw his change, reminding her, he was still no doubt a very dangerous man. Rather than withdrawing, Margaret held herself tall and firm. like a Queen knowing her power.
“Thank you.” she answered in relief and with as much calm as she could muster. Even my life…? she wanted to add, but dared not. not yet.
“And do you trust… me?”
