Kate defo looks better in her blue cape dress than Meghan did. That said, I HATE it when Kate wears gowns with costume jewelry - bring out the real stones!

I think if they want to Kate and William can sue the dutch publisher and Omid for defamation. Not that it will go to trial. But if they launch a suit in Holland then it could go to discovery, which would mean the publisher would have to relinquish the copy of the manuscript they got from Omid, and it would be clear in print that he wrote those names down.

The publisher would just settle. The real target would be Omid.

We knew a fraction of what the brf knew, and we still knew how this was going to end. This was an enormous institutional failure. Either they were just happy someone was willing to take Harry of their hands or their egos didn't believe a cable actress could outsmart them even though she has on multiple occasions.

Even Scobie said on his book or in one interview that Kate is scandal-free , so guarded and with a very trusty circle that even if someone want to make a book of her, they can’t because there is absolutely nothing, a complete mistery.

I don’t think the reveal itself will be that damaging. What worries is me is the bad judgement. The letter was a horrible idea, and they really need to stop making stupid mistakes like that..... and he doesn't even have plausible deniability either cos she has it in writing 🙄 he's such an idiot, even The Queen banned Meghan from the summit in case she recorded anything and then here is Charles putting it into writing that their was a racist royal

The BRF should do nothing the burden of proof should be on the Harkles to prove that it didn’t happen. If it was so incendiary the palace would play ball with her with the coronation when she was threatening to release the letter. They know what’s in the letters and still didn’t give her or Harry an inch during negotiations the next best thing she has is leaking names through Omid it implicated her true target Kate to cast her as the racist. She can keep doing that so longs we never see the letter but it won’t convince people until they see the letter and find out context. She can then say at a later date that she never said it was Kate if that suits her.

Basically what I’m trying to say is for her to really get the reaction she wants she should prove that something racist was said and by who. We can assume she doesn’t have that proof because the palace never negotiated with her even when she was threatening them at a critical time. They just have to wait out the scandal. She can try implicating other people but it won’t have any impact because people are already sick of the story we’re already at 4 names I think.

I would my be surprised if in six months she says the royal racist was someone else. The story has changed so many times.

Jj a presenter on The Talk in the UK says he's heard from a very reliable source a high up royal official that the so called royal racist isn't Charles or Kate and this has apparently been confirmed by members of the family too.

Regarding Rebecca’s tweet I interpreted that statement differently.

I think it’s blatantly obvious that the letter was leaked by the California duo. Given their proven history. I think Meghan knows this. She knows this is bad and I think she knows that thing will change things. She wasn’t expecting the negative reaction from the book. and she also knows absolve herself entirely from this situation. This is karma for working with Omid during FF

I think she’s trying to shift blame. It’s not HER team, but it could be Harry’s. He could be so caught up in rage at William not picking up the phone or the removal of frogmore by Charles that he does this.

The statement also doesn’t include circle of friends. I think the post likely situation was that Marcus read the letter this time and spoke with Omid. Technically speaking she’s right, her team didnt. But her friends did

A book I was extremely proud of... now overshadowed'

Omid Scobie describes the fallout of a royal family race row sparked by his latest book Endgame.

Scobie says he still cannot explain how two royals were named in a Dutch edition of his latest book and feels ‘hurt’ and ‘frustrated’.

Meghan is so like her dad, he was doing the whole "you have to talk to me because I'm old and fat and about to die of a heart attack" for years and he's still around.

She will be doing this whole "you have to publicly apologize to me because otherwise Brits will call you a racist and vote for a republic" for years as long as it gets publicity.

For people such as yourself who read the Spare know how seriously bad Harry is. But do you think Charles and his team actually know the full content of it? Because I'm inclined to think that they really don't aside from what was shared in the media which is why a wide open door is still left for them.

That could very well be the case. Charles may not be aware of the worst abuses. That would explain why he thought the letter was a good idea.

It's a small thing, maybe even accidental (perhaps it just worked out that William was on that side of the car), but the symbolism is extraordinary - he was literally protecting her.

All she has left is her memoir and the letter leak is, imo, an attempt at raising the value of that memoir.

Very much hope he doesn't!!! Everything he says regarding family, he always puts his foot in it. They need solid pics of family unity at the carol concert, hopefully even the York girls will fly in. And Charles should use the Queen's speechwriter, but given he fired all her old secretaries I don't hold much hope.

They need to draw a line underneath this whole thing. No casual mentions (or at least not unless someone else mentions it first and a response is unavoidable). No comment - get people used to the radio silence. Scrubbing the website for 2024. Get Frogmore occupied with someone popular, rented to staff, or used as a public museum. Dissociate anything connected to Harkles with some neutral alternative.
