Welcome to this blog. This blog is dedicated to sharing Backyardigans screenshots with silly captions, some of them being accurate, while others are not. This blog exists merely for entertainment purposes and for those who are nostalgic for this show. As of right now, this blog's on hiatus since the owner has little motivation to work on it. In light of Janice Burgess' passing, this blog will remain on hiatus for the time being. This will be a difficult time for a lot of us to process, considering Backyardigans was a part of a lot of childhoods. I don't know when I'll return, but I'll see if I can get back by the 20th anniversary. I hope she rests easy, and bless her for giving us such a good show.

Rip Janice Burgess, thank you for creating such an influential and imaginative show for the youth with such fun characters. You’ve created a big piece of my childhood and so many others, and I’m so happy that I still adore this show to this extent, and I hope all is well for your friends and family. Thank you.

Hello again, dropping in from hiatus to speak about Quiet on Set. As this is a blog for a show that aired on one of the Nickelodeon blocks, I stand by the people who were victimized by Dan Schneider and Josh Peck. As somebody who was also groomed and subjected to sexual abuse, I firmly believe that Dan Schneider is a gross piece of shit who used kids to fulfill his sick fantasies. I don't buy his bullshit apology. He's not sorry at all. Give that motherfucker a ukulele.
