I bet there's someone out there in a parallel universe saying, "Shadowstone Park could've ended 60 episodes earlier with 90% less deaths if a penguin with a gun showed up at the beginning".

are there movies in amber skies' world? Or something similar? If I give you a really red piece of bark I found in a bush will you tell me a fact about the theatre scene there?
Kinda! They're expensive to produce and distribute just because of how computers have evolved (microchips take all sorts of rare metals, so they're built to be extremely sturdy and long lasting, generally made of swappable standardized components suspended in industrial aluminum oxide crystals and then encased in plastic cartridges.)
Big cities might have a cinema or two, and people might swap home movies on what are essentially floppy drives, but the film industry takes a 3rd fiddle to:
Live theater. This is what you'd take a date to. There's your standard Shakespeare in the park and big fancy opera houses. But even that takes 2nd fiddle to:
Teleplays. Meaning radio plays. The amber sky has no satellite communication, but broadcast communication technology is extremely prevalent. Audio-only formats are very very common.
