For today, I drew Madoka's Doppel, Kriemhild Gretchen (Interior Ver.), with and without the girl herself entombed within... This one took me a WHILE to do but I'm satisfied with the outcome. I even drew a background for it. Would make for a pretty sick wallpaper. We love you Gretchen!

Witchtober day 4: Mobage

I had to draw the Witch of Dreams for this one. She's adorable. For these witches with no info, I'm working together with my friends to write some headcanon stuff, just like with the previous post.

The witch of dreams with an imaginative nature. Her dream was always to stay at an amusement park, and for a decent while, things remained that way, and every day she was able to go to the local fair. But fights quickly began to break out between her family in secret, culminating in her being left abandoned in the park. Hoping they’d just come back for her soon, even with doubts slowly filling her being, she went and fell asleep behind one of the curtains..

As a witch, she never wants anyone to feel that grief ever again. Everyone deserves to be happy, even if they don’t think they should. With little understanding of the human limits people have to the thrills and chills of a fair, those whisked away through their dreams into this fairytale may almost never wake up, through either their essence giving out or being trapped in a dream they cannot escape. However, even despite this, the witch’s intents remain pure.

Witchtober day 3: Different Story!

Decided to go with the Minotaur Witch for today, since it just got an official palette revealed. I forgot the ribbon on the axe but it's okay. No clue what F4 was thinking with the insane posing it's got in scene 0, so I made this one look a bit more like its appearance in TDS. Hooray! I frankly don't remember this witch doing anything but I'm glad it was able to reappear. That sort of thing is special ^_^

As a bonus, here's a fan-made description my friend wrote up for this witch, just for fun!

"Exabúrin" (based off of the original greek name for a labyrinth, Labúrinthos, the reversed text for axe, Excalibur)

The silver weapon witch with a protective nature. It is unknown how long this witch has lived for as a concept, especially given its appearance in both blade and “body”.

It is highly rumored to have stemmed from the very era it has design inspirations from. A horrendously agile witch, her labyrinth imprisons humans so that they will never get close to the treasure hidden deep inside. If the treasure is found.. her purpose ends, and she will die.

A witch that has tormented countless Puella Magi across hundreds of years, and has been some’s dead end.

Witchtober day 1 - Witch

Drew Gisela for day 1, both in her shiny and covered in disgusting horrible grime form! She was one of I think 3-6 main series witches I didn't draw back when I did them all, so I'm glad to finally have art of her done. I'll try and mostly draw witches I haven't before for this.

I like Gisela a lot, especially with how she factors in to Mami and Kyouko's stories. Especially Mami's. I remember trudging through her entire labyrinth with a Mami with 0MP in Portable. Miserable experience, yet good for immersion! Love you, Gisela. You and all your rust

how i discovered akuma homura was in magia record

so magia record's twitter posted a link to an anniversary website said to contain hints at who its anniversary unit will be

throughout this website there were a few codes in base64, parts of a JWT token. as well, a series of numbers at the bottom.

when you go to the secret page of the site, it announces to you that you've found more hints. going back to the main section and sharing the contest-entrance tweet will get you an image with one of forty codes that correspond with one of those numbers. this is the one i got!

when you put all forty together, eventually, you'll get yourself a code. it is as follows:
