What’s Jack’s favorite 🤩 ice cream flavor+toppings?

jack loves ice cream in general, you'd be hard press to find one he doesn't like

for toppings, chocolate syrup is a favorite of his. chocolate goes with so many ice cream flavors.. he also loves cherries! he prefers to eat it at the end, it's like one last little bonus treat after finishing the ice cream. he's quite fond of whipped cream too. also sprinkles just bc Jack finds them cute for favorite flavors, he's favorite is probably classic chocolate when we're talking just the ice cream on its own without anything else. But when he feels like adding toppings, vanilla is good to balance everything. but again, practically any flavor is good in Jack's eyes. He loves sundaes and banana splits and milkshakes and he's a regular at soda/ice cream shops naturally asdfgk

Rats are intelligent and have a keen sense of smell like dogs, so would little guy Jack have a rat as a "dog"?

Aww this is such a cute idea ! a miniature detective having a little rat follow scent trails to clues and people on investigations...

Once Jack figures out he can train a rat to do this he'd immediately declare said rat an official member of the detective agency. It'd be like a "quirky group of detectives and their dog (aka rat)" sort of trope asdfgk I love it

definitely ! he keeps pet mice and has a soft spot for them (and rodents in general) so if he came across one in like a mousehole or something while investigating he'd think it's cute and want to pet it and give it treats. probably accidentally forget the investigation for a bit too asdfgk

Hinata distracting while Jack sneaks around definitely would be a strategy they'd use sometimes. Jack is small enough now to sneak in to places and go unnoticed so Hinata can take the focus off of him easier. lot of fun investigation hijinks possibilities

what rides/parts of a rollercoaster park would be mini jack's favorite?

definitely not the rollercoasters themselves asdfgk he'd be terrified of them and would be desperately clinging to whoever brought him along on one previously when he wasn't small and just his normal self, he had trouble fitting on rides because he was a very tall man (at 7ft tall there's often not a lot of leg room for him) now that he's tiny idk if he'd be able to go on them. wouldn't want poor little Jack to go flying out of the ride asdfgk Jack likes more leisurely rides anyway.. his ideal rides at a park are the ones that just go in a straight line or go slowly. if a ride launches you at the speed of sound with 10 g-forces he's out asdfkg. Hinata is the one who would like thrill rides actually! Now food, that's more of Jack's speed. He loves to eat just about everything at amusement parks, from the standard snacks to the wacky novelties. They don't make little guy portions though, so he'd have to share and give the majority to his friend. I can imagine Jack enjoying an ice cream cone that's bigger than he is and having to have Hinata hold it for him asdfghjk

Dhdbssbsb what if: somehow there’s some land outside the city where Jack can go for alone time and also people set up a system where he can talk normally into something and is translated into a normal volume because he’s so far away

annnnnnd idk how it would work but he’s walking around spaces that he doesn’t need to quiet his steppies passing by hammocks set up for people that sway as he walks by

Jack probably would get a designated space for himself if he stayed long enough in exchange for his service to the city

they could probably set up some kind of intercom system to make communication easier between them.. Using distance, have Jack speak at his natural volume and amplify human voices... fun fact, but sometimes on occasion human people use megaphones to talk to Jack since the size-volume thing goes both ways. of course, Jack could just pick someone up and hold them to his ear (which he does do from time to time) but some people just don't like to be handled like that.. so you have people on rooftops using megaphones at him when there's official business to be done asdfk (it saves Jack the back pain too, since he doesnt need to lean down to hear them better when they do this). people also yell up to him, but that takes a lot outta a person's voice asdfk

i imagine being in a hammock while a giant walks by is either distressing or fun. it's like a free carnival ride, just get in and wheeeee asdfghk enjoy being shaken around with each of the giant's steps

How rumbly/echoey/bass is mini giant Jack and time traveler Jack’s voice and steppies are?

Are there any people that insist for him to talk and walk with less hesitation?

so minigiant!jack has a voice that's naturally a bit louder and deeper than a human person's bc of his size. not to the point of being painful, but enough to fill a room. It would be like a person speaking as loud and as powerfully as they could to be heard by a crowd, except Jack doesn't even have to really try. So he does quiet his voice a bit when he's around others. his footsteps are heavy enough that you can feel it in the floor when he moves. maybe some wall-hangings/loose objects on tables shake a bit so he has a habit of softening his steps to prevent this. time traveler!jack, being a lot bigger, has a much louder and rumbly voice. His natural speaking voice is one that makes people want to cover their ears when he forgets to tone it down around them. it does that thing where the sound vibrates and resonates through you, so he's constantly speaking in a near-whisper around the human populace basically, even though said human people doesn't realize it. if he ever yelled it might straight up be harmful

time traveler!jack's footsteps are basically like mini-earthquakes. everything in the vicinity shakes when he takes a step (poor Jack might also be accidentally damaging the pavement anywhere he steps asdfghjk). He tries his best to walk gently of course though

For minigiant!Jack, sometimes his bigger voice can be a handy tool, even welcomed by others. Some people find it cool, and it's useful for when Jack is on-stage. imagine a performance by a giant with their booming voice ! it would be a neat experience

His loved ones naturally don't mind Jack easing up around them regarding his his voice/footsteps. He's a gentle person by nature, but he can relax and stop worrying so much about causing disturbances with his bigness around them.

Time traveler!Jack has a little rougher time. With all the people who can be affected by it, it's natural that some among them would have problems with it if he spoke too loud or stepped too heavily. It's hard for Jack to find space where he can let loose when everything is so cramped and close together for him.

There are a few instances where some people stop and gather when he hums to himself. Jack might not be able to sing out loud with them around, but he can hum gently. For the smaller people, the humming is more of a deep vibration and some find it intriguing. time traveler!Jack would probably be happy to have a wide open space to himself. he understands why he has to be considerate around the tiny people and he happily does so... but it would be nice if he could have a few minutes to himself from time to time.

What if: All versions of Jack have access to cuddle and play with animals in animal rehabilitation centers

aw.... Jack would love that for little guy!jack, you might have to watch over him since he might be smaller than the animals he's interacting with; a little guy like him could get hurt playing with big animals. He'd love to hang out with the smaller ones though, the smaller dogs and cats, rodents, birdies... he'd get to have a closer perspective now that he's little too ! imagine him just cuddling in a pile with the little animals... it'd be so cute and cozy minigiant!jack would be good at taking care of bigger animals.. I can imagine him playing with big farm animals like cows and horses.. all the big animals would look like house pets with him asdfgk he might even be able to hold some of them in his arms too like how a person holds their dog or cat. very cute time traveler!jack might spook some animals.. he's so big and his voice and footsteps are big too... but he'd still try his best to be gentle around the little animals and earn their trust.. some animals just don't care and will happily go up to him anyway, so Jack is infinitely happy too when he can pet one with his finger tip and hold them in his hand..

What helps time traveler Jack feel less lonely and scared when he realizes he’s stuck in that city for a while? And is there any specific thing he does that convinces people he’s just his gentle self? The first interactions must have been a lot anxious staring at each other

mainly he tries to keep himself busy. if he can't go back home, then he might as well find stuff to do. observing and exploration of the world around him, but also doing jobs around the city. he feels happy when he can help people. if he's missing his loved ones, sometimes he'll write a letter to them (even though he has no way to get said letter to them) or think about souvenirs to bring back that they'll like. sometimes thinking about them like that helps him feel more connected to them. When he first came to the city, it definitely was a lot of staring and keeping distance. Jack kept a respectable distance so as to not spook anyone and the townspeople were just very wary of someone who could topple buildings if he wanted to. time passing and Jack being respectful made some people ease up. a sort of "oh. the giant isn't doing anything? guess i'll just.. move on??" thing where some people got accustomed to him just hanging out to the point where they just walk by him without even looking. of course some other people would need more convincing. that group of people were still naturally intimidated by Jack and sometimes outright afraid of him. they'd avoid him and distance themselves, flinch whenever he made a single movement etc. The amount of people who were distrustful of him would gradually decrease as the city got to observe his personality more. Sometimes Jack would see people trying to move something that was heavy and required machinery for human people, so his first instinct was to help without much second thought about it. So he'd just go "Oh, let me help" and lift the thing to put it wherever it needed to go with a single hand, much to the amazement of everyone around him. It did catch some people off-guard at first (Jack would apologize for startling anyone) but eventually more and more people realized his helpful nature for what it was and welcomed it.

His considerate movements and voice were also helpful in convincing people. People are charmed by gentlemen (even giant ones asdfkg) I'm also imagining a scenario where Jack is just melting over seeing some cute animals, cooing at them, and all people around him are just like "oh the giant likes cute things? i guess he's really just a big softie and not scary" with enough time, most people realized that Jack was just a cute silly gentle giant with a big heart.

Do you have any ideas what Jack would do if he wasn’t a detective or an actor?

hm.. he has other interests of course, like sometimes he'll write or dabble in music, but i dont really see him pursuing them as careers or anything. maybe he would do something involving taking care of animals since he loves them a lot he's strong, so he's good at physical labor he likes doing stuff like cleaning and cooking and taking care of others, so anything involving those are options too...

overall he's pretty content and settled in with his current acting/detective situation though one thing I think about from time to time is how detective Jack sort of "fell into" being a detective. Because when his father adopted him, he sort of wanted Jack to follow in his footsteps and inherit the agency. Jack went along with it, but I wonder if he would have wanted to pursue acting instead like the other-verse's Jack? it's a lot of circumstance but in some ways I think minigiant!Jack is a bit more happy than the other Jacks...
