You know people who reach out to you only when they need something? That can be so frustrating, right? To feel like you’re being taken advantage of, only when it’s convenient for the other person. So, why do we do that with God?

I admit, I can be guilty of this at times too. I’m so thankful God is better than we are, and doesn’t hold our bad habits against us. We have the tendency to go to Him only when we’re desperate, and the sweetest thing about it all is that He doesn’t hold it against us. He desires nothing more for us to just be in His presence, talk to Him, and spend time with Him.

Knowing all of this, we should be mindful of how and when we go to God. Is it a part of our daily lives? Do we walk through each day in constant conversation with Him? Let’s make Him our number one priority. He loves us. He’s worth it.
