Lately, Ohuhu brush markers are all the rage on youtube. They’re everywhere. They’re compared to Copic markers, not as good but a lot cheaper.
These 120 markers are $99.99 on 1/3/21 on Amazon. It looks good but still quite expensive for my budget. DrawingWiffWaffles notes how expensive it is for cheap markers. Some people say brush markers are so much better than markers that don’t have a brush tip, but they’re a lot more expensive as well.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have the twinkling H2Os. I’ve been looking for alternatives and some recommendations. thefrugalcrafter shows all the swatches of her metallic watercolors. I’m posting this before I even watch the video. I’m excited to see if there are any watercolor that are shiny and less expensive than the twinkling H2Os.
Wow!! This is a set for less than $5 from Dick Blick

She likes the Paul Rubens ones that I put in a post a few posts ago, but they’re pretty expensive. 24 colors for $50.

A video on how to make shimmering watercolors like twinking HsOs. She used mica powder, gum arabic and water. She put 3 drops of gum arabic and about 12 drops of water for each of those ice cube tray sized paints.
I’m wondering if the colors can be mixed.

DIY metallic watercolors from thefrugalcrafter similar to twinkling h2o. She uses eyeshadow from the Dollar store, gum arabic and water.

Wasn’t sure if I should put this in my bullet journal blog or this one. But this is a crafty way to create some nice bullet journals out of dollar store notebooks.

Studio 71 markers review by Coloring Bliss on youtube
She says that Studio 71 marker inks are the same as Blick Illustrator markers.
Blick studio markers have the same ink as Spectra AD markers also, she says.
