I'm focused on the Aztecs and the stone mask, particularly how it came to be that the Aztecs invented the stone masks... I mean, for what reason? From what I've gained so far, it was an attempt to grant the Aztec vampire race the ability to withstand sunlight, but I'm not sure as I haven't quite delved into it though.
