Pros: she made Ranger have a tantrum like a fucking child which was actually really fucking funny.
Cons: never shows up again, and we never even get to see her face. Criminally sidelined by both the game and fandom.
Sei propaganda:
Pros: an all-round great sense of humour on this kid for someone training to be a really fucked up assassin. Great dynamic with Kai. We have no idea who the actual older brother is.
Cons: he’s ginger (/j) he made us all cry so hard tho let’s be honest.
[ID: 1. a sketch of Alice Yabusame and real Hinako Mishuku from Your turn to die. They both hold out a hand for a handshake. Hinako says; "Hinako." And Alice says; "Ah- uhm, Alice." Hinako says; "Thank you. For– saving me back there."
2. The start of a comic- it shows several of the participants standing in the first room, Hinako standing near Alice as Alice scowls. They have a conversation;
Alice: "...Hinako Mishuku."
Hinako: "Yes?"
Alice: "Why are you standing near me."
Hinako: "I don't know anyone else here."
Alice: "Well, leave. I am more dangerous than any stranger."
Hinako: "No you arent."
Alice: "You don't– I will request that you do not stand near me. Please."
Hinako: "..."
Hinako: "Fine."
The last panel shows Hinako walking away, unsure of what to do.
3. Nao looks forward toward something in the middle of talking with Mishima and exclaims: "Ah– Hey, everyone!" It shows Kanna, curled up at the end of a tunnel looking darkly forward, as Nao says; "I think– theres someone new..."
There's an in-between panel of everyone bustling about, and Reko picks up Kanna as Nao picks up her bucket, and Kanna hangs limply in her arms. In the next panel Kannas hands are on her head as Reko notices Hinako, and asks; "Do you know her?"
Hinako replies "...No." And Mishima, standing next to her says; "I believe it is best if we leave her alone, for the moment."
4. Hinako and Kanna are sitting next to each other on the floor, Kanna buring her head in her knees and Hinako looking around.
Hinako looks across the room and watches as Reko sidles up to Alice, and whispers something to him she can't make out. The last panel is Hinako looking away. end ID]
Imagine that the real Hinako, whose school uniform in the artbooks is described like it looks like it's for a fancy school, goes to one of those all-girl schools where they live in dormitories and the reason Pink Hinako got involved in the death game at all is because of how difficult it would be for Hiyori to see real Hinako for the consent form. Making Hiyori a staff member might be too memorable for the students, so instead a little imposter middle schooler is sent in to lure the sad girl Hinako out to where she can sign away her life
Pink befriending and entrapping Hinako, and the process of having to lie to someone she gets to know erodes Pink's faith in other people. The things the organization does to people, and makes her do.
