This is the owner's (@osias-twstcorner) first time creating or participating in a zine so bear with me please!

When completed, this will be a free to download fully digital zine centered around creating promotional materials for characters from anime style mobile games.

Examples are: Twisted Wonderland, Ensemble Stars, Project Sekai, Hypnosis Mic, and whatever else is suggested!

As of now, we are testing interest (don't worry, this will be created at some point or another regardless) through this google form

Depends what mood you catch him in! Usually he'd probably stare at you, but if you catch him on a good day you might get some very basic conversation.

To all Orthos. It’s your brother Idia’s birthday today. What you gonna do with him in terms of plans, plus a birthday party for him?

Post Chapter 6:

Force him to make a cake with me. If he's good with his hands, he can decorate a cake. (he absolutely can't)

Otherwise, I got him some merch from Moirai and promised him he could teach me the dances in the school courtyard late tonight

Pre Chapter 6:

There's just too much to do! Though I doubt he'll want to do everything I have planned :(

First, I'll make his favorite breakfast! Then we'll go on a morning long anime marathon, go to the dorm's party, go to an amusement park, and finish the day up with a game marathon!

I tried to make him a stuffed animal but it's a little wonky... I hope he likes it...

Tartarus:

Oh? It's that time of year already?

Visit his grave and renew the promise I made him to bring him back. Perhaps eat a cupcake in his honor.

Human:

I have about 50 firewords set up on Ignihyde's lawn. Gonna set them off at midnight :)

I made him a puzzle cube. It's a joke between us where we make these dangerous puzzle cubes and we have to diffuse the different weapons before the timer's up. I definitely didn't put a smoke bomb in it this year.

RSA:

I'll give him a call later (probably like 10 at night, I don't think he wakes up before then.) and wish him a happy birthday. I'm going to hang out with him this weekend, probably let him pick what we do.

I got him a shirt with cat memes on them. I don't really understand it, but he's always sending me them so why not?

Pre Incident:

Dorm Leader:

He's a little busy with work currently (I know, it surprises me too) but we'll hang out with him and our parents soon. We usually get food at some fast food place dressed in whatever cosplay Idia has and go sit in public. Might go to an arcade too.

Designed a game in one of my classes, you know, the one we joked about before our overblot? If he's not gonna do it I am.

For the human Orthos: do you ever wish you were a robot like the other Orthos? (Re the power fantasy of not having human limitations from the lens of disability (I’m also disabled! Important to note bc it makes a difference))

Conversely for the robot Orthos: do you ever wish you were human?

I wasn't really sure what to do with Tartarus Ortho, so I just left him out

If I was a robot, I wouldn't be able to use my magic, and that's how I'm going to bring Idia back.

So no. I would not like to be a robot, regardless of any sort of pain I have as a human. It's all going to be worth it in the end.

Human:

Sometimes, yes. As an amputee, it's rather annoying to deal with my robotic parts every single day, and making sure they're functioning well and there's no danger with my biology just sometimes feels like it isn't worth it.

On my good days, when there's much less pain, I'm happy to be alive and be able to spend time with people in my own body, not some mechanical shell, but when I have a bad day, with either the affects of the incident or my preexisting conditions from birth I just want something to make the pain die down a bit.

Rsa:

Not really, I'm happy how I am. Sure, there's ups and downs dealing with trauma and physical affects of almost dying, but I don't think losing that pain that has shaped how I am is worth being trapped in a robot body, at the whims of Idia and what random shit he decides to put in my body.

Robot Orthos:

That's a hard one... I really enjoy being the way I am because it's really fun to be able to hover (and beat people to class) and also having all of my attachments like the ones I can use for medical assistances is very handy.

But yes, I do find myself wondering what it would be like to be human pretty often, and sometimes I do think it would be easier if I was

I like the way I'm made! I think it's very fun to experience anything, but especially as a robot because I can do things other people can't, especially in helping Idia!

Being human would be... an experience, but it's just not one for me

Dorm Leader:

For me it's kinda both. While I loved looking like a robot a few years ago, now it's nice to be able to blend in so I don't scare any freshies. I definitely have to say having multiple bodies to choose from makes it a lot easier, especially as a trans guy!

To Pre incident Ortho.

what if I told you your brother kinda becomes a couch potato in the future(aka he doesn’t want to do any form of exercise cause he’ll be more of an uhhh an Otaku)

Oh, he's always been like that! Sort of.

We want to escape home, sure, but that's just because we want to see the outside world! Idia's always been skittish and I'm pretty sure he's only so enthusiastic about it because I am. (And the abundance of newer animes to get access too)

The exercise part is a surprise, though! One of our favorite things to do is soft hack the circuits of the chariots and try to race them around. I think that counts as exercise? Though with the right motivation you can make Idia do anything.

i would appreciate Idas' help uwu dunno about helping him stop being insane, but helping take out the scientist outfit works? there's many ways to be insane and we can work out one that doesn't kill people :D maybe lessen the damage. Orestes is cute even without blood currently on his hands after all.

He probably really needs to wash that thing.

Just for ref how tall is Tartarus Ortho? I assume hes giant but how giant?

Oh, he’s definitely huge. I don’t know an exact size for in game, but when I compare him to Idia’s overblot size (from just Ortho’s chest up) he seems to be about 4 times Idia’s height (6’, I think 183 cm)

My opinion, to quote this post I made about him earlier, is: “somewhere between 40-60 feet (12.19-18.28 m) tall and I default to 50 (15.24 m)”

ooo can I ask for more in depth about Tartarus Ortho?? Theres just something about the overblots that make me so giddy. Maybe I am a monster fucker /j.😨😨

Sure! (Don't worry, the overblots get me giddy too)

The way I think of Tartarus Ortho is as a combination of the Ortho who lured Idia and robot Ortho, the literal phantom, and, way less prominent, the Ortho who originally turned into the other two. Also! bits of the phantoms' personalities that Ortho absorbed tend to slip in.

(I do have OSDD so this is heavily based on me projecting)

Essentially, the Ortho who lured Idia and robot Ortho is a corrupted version of the third one I mentioned before. He's been in a form of overblot since a few days after getting down there when his curse first started absorbing the phantoms. Since he was already in the underworld/phantom containment he's unable to do anything but continue to be more corrupted. He is still able to feel pain but nothing else like guilt, hence why he reached out to Idia and robot Ortho in the first place.

The phantom is pretty similar to other phantoms except he's a little bit more chill because he feels guilty about absorbing/killing his friends. The story (eng version) describes him as gigantic compared to any other phantom but doesn't give an exact anything so I headcanon him being somewhere between 40-60 feet (12.19-18.28 m) tall and default to 50 (15.24 m). He is the one most in control while just passively living in Tartarus and is very lonely because the other phantoms avoid him.

The phantoms themselves tend to have individual personalities and are generally terrified of any sort of change. They can get violent, but being trapped for so many centuries made most of the phantoms act like phantom Ortho; fairly docile and mostly lost. (the exception being Shiny, another of my OCs)

The final Ortho is just the Ortho involved in the incident but where he aged with the years and got severely traumatized. Sometimes phantom Ortho will try to talk to him, but that usually results in Ortho screaming and trying to run away from his own mind. He's the one who talks to Idia at the end of chapter 6 and the one who is mainly a part of post chapter 6 Ortho, though there is a tiny piece of all of them in him.

When Ortho uses "we" he is referring to every bit of Ortho, that being the three main parts of Tartarus Ortho, the phantoms he absorbed, and robot Ortho. That's why he will continue to use we in other asks about him, and also why he doesn't always do it

Idas would definitely be a good wingman if you could win him over first, though he would probably try to convince you to make Orestes stop being insane (and ruin the sexy evil scientist appeal :( )

ngl most of the staff would like instantly know about Orestes' experiments and would complain to Crowley and Crowley would say "But they're rich! Think of the funding we get by just having a Shroud in our school!" The 'Idas isn't allowed outside' thing was also a Crowley solution lol

To Tartarus Ortho

When you break free from where you and the other phantoms are trapped. What’s the first thing you’ll do when you get free? Will you go seek out Idia, your older brother?

The first thing we'll do once we get out is get something to eat and a nice warm (gigantic, hehe!) blanket!

We would seek Idia out right after, but he’d likely be the one letting me out so we'd already have seen him! Our (mine and my friends) main escape plan does involve asking him for help.

After they get warmth, my friends say that the first thing they’ll do is destroy the cages that keep the other phantoms captive and then they’ll have a big party all over the world!

Here's Orestes' canon, though I may change it up slightly!

Orestes

Since one person on my ask blog asked me about Orestes, I'm using it as an excuse to yack about Orestes.

I was at one point trying to write a fic about Orestes and his progression into insanity life but I currently have 5 long fics I'm editing or panic writing

I named Orestes from finding the name and thinking it would be a useful way to distinguish between the Orthos but upon looking into the name I discovered the Oresteia, a Greek play. After that, I started incorporating aspects of that story with Orestes because he was already pretty similar to the Orestes in the story

TW for mass murder, kidnapping, child/animal abuse, body modification (it's a robot, but still) and dark thoughts

Basic information:

Orestes and Idas are the code names of Ortho and Idia to protect their identity at school. Idas stands for Idia Digital Anima System

The parents shown in chapter 7 do not exist here, they are replaced by Agamemnon and Klytemnestra who are awful parents

Orestes' unique magic is Outline of your Suffering (The full incantation is "see the outline of your suffering, this was always going to happen) It's a quote from the Oresteia. It rips souls from living people and allows Orestes to move them. Overuse of it led Orestes to become able to reanimate bones, at the cost of even more intense blot.

The Timeline

At age 8, the Incident happens and Idia winds up dying

Ortho's parents become cold and Ortho, seeing that he's not wanted isolates himself in fear they may be psychically violent to him

His parents call him useless for only sitting around and not doing any work to help the family, saying they wish Ortho died instead and that the only way they'd love him is if he got his brother bacl.

Ortho begins experimenting on animals (he kills them and tries to resurrect them using his unique magic)

At age 9, Ortho begins kidnapping STYX researchers his parents send his way and experimenting on them

Around his 10th birthday, Ortho finishes the prototype of Idas and begins using him as a silent lab assistant. Idas is not very aware at this point.

At age 11, Ortho is given a torture room with a chamber for storing bodies and another for his experiments themselves

He also takes on the name Orestes when he is officially named heir to STYX to distance himself from his parents when they suggest a code name. From here forward in the timeline I will refer to him as Orestes.

At age 12, Idas is finished and this time he is actually aware. He continues to be a silent robot assistant because Orestes is worried if Idas has a voice bank he would question if Orestes is doing what's morally right.

Orestes begins using him in the actual experiments, which have kicked up a few notches

Orestes starts to get paranoid about Idas somehow leaking information to the researchers (he was) and begins to become insanely controlling of him.

Age 14, Orestes is sent to NRC because he's beginning to scare his parents.

He quietly continues his experiments.

When he turns 16, Orestes claims the housewarden title, freaking out just about everyone at the school.

Idas is now given the task of threatening or kidnapping students, which he hates.

Because they can't touch Orestes any other way, he is held back a year.

At 17, Idas gets banned from being on the campus other than Orestes' room and is trapped in there now as Orestes does his own dirty work.

Eventually, Orestes graduates and goes home to work for his internship. He is put in one of the highest positions.

An argument with his parents that resulted in one of them approaching him with a knife leads Orestes to overblot, using his magic to reanimate every skeleton in the whole facility to try to take control of STYX.

(It's also an attempt)

This story so far has an open ending, but any ideas in closing it are very much accepted!

Orestes would consider himself aro/too busy (lol) if you asked him, but he also doesn't pay much attention to anyone but himself. He may also say he just doesn't care about labels.

Sadly, Orestes in his actual storyline is a tragic character and he wouldn't get the chance to make a connection with anyone before jumping off the deep end (I’ll probably make an even longer post about that eventually)

But with the right connection to someone he would definitely be willing to date anyone, regardless of gender.

Every time I draw Orestes he turns out looking a little different but here's the early doodles I did of a younger him and his version of Idia

Post Chapter 6:

My family generally celebrates the holidays as one big thing where one parent has a big meal with us around New Years and the other does the same the next year. It kinda sucks, but we still get presents! Uh, that’s assuming Idia and I are allowed home for the break this year. If not, we’ll probably do what we did every year when we were kids- anime marathon, lots of sugary snacks, and a speedrunning contest while we wait for “Santa” to show up and get caught. (it’s one of the researchers in disguise, I think my parents hired him, though he is weirdly committed to the bit-)

Pre chapter 6:

I’m not really sure! I like to try to involve myself in the NRC festivities, though. I know Kalim’s got a party going, maybe I can drag Idia, and the choir sings at every dorm, but I can’t join that or my body gets too cold to function!

I know Idia will be willing to spend Christmas night with me, and we’ll probably play a game or watch a movie!

Unfortunately, I don’t believe in Santa. I’ve seen way too much on the internet. Way too much… I do think Kalim does, though.

On a better note, I love your emojis!

Tartarus:

We’re not going to be doing anything different than usual! There’s not much else to do but sit around and wait. Maybe we’ll wander around! But there’s nothing to do around, its all dark, heheh! Nothing to eat… Nothing to see…. It only encourages me to escape!

As for what I want to do... I want to sit by a nice warm fire with some hot cocoa Switched (Orestes):

I’ve never celebrated any holidays. I suppose I’d just be doing the same thing as usual.

I only hope those carolers stay away from Ignihyde this year.

Human:

Honestly, the only thing I have planned is the elaborate trap me and Idia make for Santa every year. Neither of us believe in him (little too old) but it's become a tradition to see just how bad of a trap we can make.

So far we've got 17 different parts to it and it lives in Idia's workroom. It's also fun trying to sneak it home with the Charons watching.

My favorite holiday tradition is definitely sticking my head in the fireplace to see my hair turn red, but I don't think that's what you're asking.

I am looking forward to New Years though! The Kingdom of Heroes always does a huge celebration and if we play our cards right we're usually allowed to go. They have confetti.

RSA:

I'm not sure if I'm going home for the holidays or not. I'll find out soon enough when I get kidnapped!

But if I don't, I'll just hang out with the other RSA students. We go into town and buy stuff to do a secret santa every year! I got Neige last year and used that to ask him out. It was fun spending time with him and Chenya then.

Though if I hang out with Idia we'll probably have a chariot race for the nostalgia, paired with some gaming and snacks. I haven't kept up on any of my games in a few months because I was too busy with school so that'd be fun too.

Either way, I'll be having fun with my loved ones!

Before the Incident:

I love the holidays!!! My parents don't really pay attention to holidays (I think Mom managed to get stuck in her room from the 15th to January 9th of the next year a few years ago!) but Idy always goes on a Christmas movie marathon. We don't exactly celebrate Christmas on Christmas every year, or New Years on New Years, but I think it's still nice to get to spend time together!

I do believe in Santa! He comes in my house, even dressed in a STYX uniform! I used to wonder if secretly STYX was a workshop for Santa, but Idy says that's ridiculous.

Ignihyde Dorm Leader:

Hm, well I'll spend until the 22nd at school with my dormmates. We usually throw a big party before everyone leaves for winter break with a huge gaming tournament. After that, I'll probably do my gift exchange with the other housewardens (and Ace) before heading home for a bit. I painted a nice set of cards for Ace with things from my family history (gonna see how long it takes him to notice the one guy in there 10 times), I got Deuce some blastcycle supplies to go with the nice one I got him last year to fix up. I made Sebek a weapon that changes between a few types. I got Epel and his grandma a trip to come see STYX (and I'll be participating in their sled race sometime). Finally, I got Jack a bunch of socks. I don't know why he wanted them but when I asked him that's what he said he wanted so. I got him 200 socks.

Idia has a big fancy job and I'm not sure he can actually get off work to come visit, but I do have plans to get dinner with him at least on the 30th. School starts up on the 3rd so I'd have to go back then, but I'll probably stick around the school a little earlier to comfort anyone who got left behind.

Definitely looking forward to ice skating, throwing snowballs at my friends, and getting to cozy under a nice blanket.
