For artists who have problems with perspective (furniture etc.) in indoor scenes like me - there’s an online programm called roomsketcher where you can design a house/roon and snap pictures of it using different perspectives.

It’s got an almost endless range of furniture, doors, windows, stairs etc and is easy to use. In addition to that, you don’t have to install anything and if you create an account (which is free) you can save and return to your houses.

Twisted Wonderland, Episode 2-14 Partial Translation: Encounter in the Dead of Night

T/N: I didn’t translate the whole thing but not gonna lie, the only part I cared about was the parts with Malleus. But I’ll provide context and all of that so don’t worry. I have more translator’s notes at the bottom explaining some choices I made and those are marked with [#] since Tumblr doesn’t have a superscript formatting option. Another very important note: one dialogue choice in this chapter DOES change the dialogue that follows it (hello bantering with Malleus lmao) so the format will change up a bit further into the post to reflect that derailment. Also, Japanese isn’t my first language (or even my second), so I’m sorry if something is off or wonky!

[Context: Grim is sleep-talking and being super loud, so the MC decides to go on a walk. They’re outside the dorm when this portion of the chapter begins]

MC:

(The air’s getting so cold)

(I wonder when I can return to my world…)

Man with Horns: Hm? Who’s there?

MC:

A g-ghost?

Eep, an illegal trespasser?!

Man with Horns: This is surprising. You, are you human?[1]

MC: 

1 - (He’s a little weird)

Man with Horns: Huh… but still… People living here means this dilapidation is no longer dilapidating.[3] A shame. I’ll have to search for another abandoned place to roam tomorrow night. Well then. I’ll end this here.[4]

[He disappears in a flash of light and sparkles]

MC:

1 - He disappeared…

2 - I wonder if he’s an urban explorer[5]

[Scene changes but Malleus isn’t there so I don’t care about it lmao]

More translator notes!

[1] Malleus says “hito no ko,” which translates more directly as person’s child or child of man, so he’s asking if we’re human or someone’s kid [2] He says something more along the lines of giving him a name (from what I understand), but how he phrased it didn’t seem to mesh well so I tweaked it. [3] Malleus refers to it “this extinction is no longer extinction” which like I feel it, but baby that’s a little too poetic. So I changed it to something with the same feeling but more understandable.  [4] He literally says “I am this,” so again, changed it to something with the same tone but clearer. [5] The text literally translates to “abandoned place enthusiast,” but since “urban explorer” is a more familiar term, I used that instead.
