Disabled people can find ableism triggering. Plenty of disabled people are not ND, and plenty of ND people are not disabled by their neurodivergence!

If you are disabled by your neuro variation, then you are included in “disabled people” Ableism does affect non-disabled ND people, yes, but ableism is bigotry against (perceived or actual) disability.

amab and afab as terms are constantly misused to push people into a new binary, but they're definitely appropriate terms when it comes to gender. other terms like "identified female at birth" or "observed male at birth" imply that there is some kind of objectivity to how people assign gender - as in, implying that doctors saying a baby with a vagina must be a girl and a baby with a penis must be a boy are objective and observable truths despite there being trans boys with vaginas, trans girls with penises and nonbinary people with either.

"assignment" makes clear the sheer guessing these doctors are doing. it emphasises that they're making an arbitrary choice about someone's gender based on genitals without there being a supposed objective truth of vaginas being inherently female or penises being inherently male.
