Chainsaw Man Cahpter 148 Spoilers!!!

A/N: Let me get back to my roots because this chapter makes me so excited. Also, if anyone cares, my birthday's next week so I'm super happy that we're getting another chapter next week as well.

Yoshida is showing so much emotion in this chapter which is hilarious because up until recently he's been this emotionless and mysterious character. It was to the point that people speculated that he was the death devil only to find out he was guy doing his job. He started this fight by cutting off her arm and seemed certain about winning against Asa. Also, the way that he summons the octopus devil only to have it disappear on him shortly after is sort of a testament to Yoru's power. It reminds me of when Kon broke its contract with Aki so I'm curious if the octopus did the same thing.

Just imagine being Yoshida and this introverted girl that is possessed by a devil gets a massive upgrade before your fight and all you have is a sword. Like he's been watching Asa for a while and seemed confident in his ability to take her on in a one-on-one fight especially with the element of surprise. And now she has a powerful weapon, more strength, and he's not fighting against Asa but the War Devil herself.

Seeing Asa stay calm and focused on turning her room into a sword showed how much she's grown since the beginning of this part. Against the bat devil, she was freaking out and Yoru couldn't take over her body, but this time she stayed calm and focused on her objective. I think her fighting against all those other devils with the chainsaw man church helped immensely with how she approaches battles. I also love seeing Yoru having a big ass sword that is nearly the size of her.

I'm glad that Yoru is starting to get what she wanted, and people are starting to remember war. I can't wait to see her get stronger and stronger. I like the way that you can see her struggling with her strength and having figure out the right output due to her growing used to being weaker. Also, I wonder how fast she is since she was sent flying past Yoshida and he didn't have much time to react. Could her speed be compared to Quanxi's speed considering that Yoshida was able to somewhat keep up with her? I can't wait to see what other powers Asa/Yoru develop! I really love this chapter. I wonder if she will get her arm back since she's in between being a hybrid and fiend. Is she able to regenerate her body by drinking blood like Denji, or can she only heal her wounds with blood and regeneration is out of the question?
