Im bored, so heres a quick ficlet based off a post i saw today

prompt: mike and will almost kiss, but get interrupted by none other than Jonathan Byers himself. Mike is annoyed as FUCKK and the tension between him and Will is so fuckinggg palpable

And some murray business ofc, ofc

Maybe it wouldnt be so bad if a certain Mike Wheeler, decided maybe to kill a certain Jonathan Byers, and bury him deep into the ground.

Okay— little harsh, maybe he’d simpy sock him in the eye, or something. Nancy would have to write him a heavily worded complaint letter, but it’d all be worth it. Because he got the revenge he deserved.

See, this tension, this *thing* he’s had going on with Will— dancing around eachother, hopelessly flirting and, checking eachother out— has been going on for way too fucking long. He was *so* close, and all Mike can think about is Will’s warm breath fanning against his lips, warmth spreading all over him like a furnace and, his steady hands tracing the collar of his blue denim jacket. Mike felt like he was fucking melting under Will’s gaze.

And of course, of fucking course, Jonathan had to come bursting in, on some tangent about- to be frank, Mike doesn’t even care. He *does* care that he missed out on his chance to kiss Will fucking Byers.

Now he has to suffer through the most painfully awkward breakfast of his life.
