dta is truly a divine comedy. book 1 is just cas and dean trying to convince themselves and each other that they don’t like each other even a little bit, and it’s a toss up on who they’re worse at convincing.

book 2 is dean being like, yes i’m in love with cas, no i’m not sexually attracted to him, and if i was, no i wasn’t, it was fever induced brain damage ❤️. meanwhile cas is literally .2 seconds away from ripping off dean’s clothes but thinks the warm feelings in chest every time dean laughs is an extension of angelic devotion. those two dumbasses deserve each other.

book 2 is literally just dean being like shit everyone thinks we’re fucking. well i guess i have to go along with it because it makes too much sense like why would they think we’re NOT fucking. oh well too bad we have to keep living this ruse! if only we were actually fucking this would be so much better but oh well :-(

and cas is just like dean’s shirt rode up and i had to take 5 seconds to remember how to breathe lol must be because i rescued him from hell and contaminated him no other reason for me to be obsessed with him lol it’s my duty to catalog the way his eyelashes curl and the freckles dust his nose
