Can I Intergrate Mobile Technology into my professional setting?

At the beginning of this course 12 weeks ago I thought that this course was going to be a breeze because I did a good job of including technology in my classroom. Boy was I wrong!! During this class I have learned that although I use technology in my classroom, there are even more and better ways to encororate that in for my benefit and my students. I have enjoyed learning about new apps and new aspects of technology each week. One thing that I would change is that I would focus more time exploring one or two apps a week instead of six or seven.

Moving forward into my professional career I feel that I now will be more open to trying new technology and sharing it with my co workers. I think that I will continue to explore and learn frequently about new technology coming out!

 Are There Educational Apps For My Learners?

As a teacher that grew up with technology, it is hard for me to think of a time that there was no computers, Ipads, or smart boards in classrooms. I have always known that technology could and should be a part of every classroom, but I did not know how many educational apps there are for learners. I use apps that I learned about in undergrad and student teaching with my students now, but after researching educational apps for learners, I have found out that the possibilities are almost endless. Educational apps can be found for any age, and for almost any subject. They truly are a great teaching tool!

Can I use mobile devices to be more productive?

As a girl who grew up with technology, I constantly have my phone on me. In my spare time I look at Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter. Also, as a teacher, I use mobile technology. Prior to this module, I used mobile technology to communicate with parents, behavior management, and as a teaching tool for review. After this module, I now see how mobile technology could be useful during student group projects, and more effecient for me as a teacher to assign assignments and give feedback right form my phone. I will definatley be using my mobile device more often in the classroom as a result of this module! 📱

The past couple weeks in my graduate class we have been learning about different image presentation apps and websites. I enjoyed learning how to use these apps in a classroom setting, and how to use them in general. They are very fun to use, especially if you love to take photos and share them. Who am I?

Hi everyone!! I am Breanna and I am currently working as a long term substitute for Armstrong School District. I teach 4th and 5th grade learning support. I graduated from Clarion University with a degree in Early Childhood/Special Education in 2016. I currently am working towards my Masters degree in Special Education.

If I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family and friends. I come from a huge black and gold loving family. I enjoy spending time in Pittsburgh, rooting on our amazing sports teams and spending time at the beach. I currently am planning my wedding for this upcoming July, and I can't wait to marry the man of my dreams.
