for absolutely no reason at all heres a list of my favorite moments during julie & the phantom performances 

-first and foremost the most obvious one of course-anytime the boys show up. it gives me the same excitement every single time. ESP in stand tall for obvious reasons. -bright when when luke starts “in times that i” and for no reason at all julie walks over and holds out her mic for him to use instead of the one in front of him, coaxing him away. -that flying solo sounds slightly different from the other songs because luke still wrote it but he used julie’s diary- also when flynn says “actually, youre joining HER band” -reggie and alex looking at each  other like “are you seeing this??” during finally free abt the julie/luke chemistry  -EDGE OF GREAT. my personal favorite. the sad confused puppy dog luke has the whole time. julie goes to reggie, then alex, then luke immediately steps forward to meet her but she goes right past and he awkwardly jerks back..him gesturing to his mic for them to share and being bewildered when she ignores him. (julies look of determination when she has to pull herself away there, pulling herself as far away as she can to the crowd) lukes slow nervous walk up to julie looking very hopeful, julies massive grin when she suddenly forgets shes supposed to be ignoring him, lukes massively relieved smile. sitting on the bench staring at eachother at the end like GIRL U HAD EXACTLY ONE JOB THIS PERFORMANCE. glad you failed tho. -stand tall…the way julie looks like shes going to cry when alex shows up. the way luke is flickering, having the hardest time. the way julie runs into the performance, really, once its clear everything is okay. alex singing <3 julie and luke walking forward together w the mic
