My Yellowhammers are back! Or at least one is anyways!

Last summer I saw and heard at least two, possibly three males singing near my house which was absolutely epic considering how rare Yellowhammers are in the west of Ireland. I was really nervous that they wouldn't come back this year because a lot of hedgecutting took place nearby but thankfully they did!! Couldn't actually see one today, only heard it, but I'll definitely be trying to get a photo.

Unfortunate Common Woodpigeon (Columba palumbus) that seems to have met its end to a sparrowhawk or other predator.

My guess would be sparrowhawk based on the way the feathers were plucked and the meat eaten from the breast, which I've watched a sparrowhawk do to a feral pigeon before.
