When the rest of the world looks at the united states right now, we see a government who sends billions to support genocide but cannot help their own people starving on the streets.

We see a police force who won't go in to save children from school shootings, but deploy at a rapid rate to arrest peaceful protestors using their right to free speech to protest a genocide

America, you are a war mongering snake eating your own tail. You will protect and support war criminals in another country but let your own people starve and die

To the students bravely protesting now, we see your strength. We see what we saw when students protested the Vietnam War. We have faith you will prevail

This problem is nothing new, but this specific example with these numbers puts it into a fucking brutal perspective.

To put these numbers a different way: A Taco Bell burrito that used to cost ~7 minutes and 20 seconds of minimum wage work now costs ~30 minutes and 30 seconds of minimum wage work.

You used to be able to work at Taco Bell anywhere in the country and make enough money in one hour to buy at least 8 burritos (maybe 9 if you're a manager or something) and feed, like, 3-4 people a decently-filling meal. But now, the same amount of work at the same job will get you one meal for one person. And this change has happened over a mere 15 years.

Remember this whenever you see rich people demonize younger generations for our financial situations, when they call us irresponsible for not investing a ton of money in savings accounts.

I should start posting content again 💀 my tumblr been dead as hell. Idk tho cuz I got SAT coming up and I haven’t really been studying so 😁💔 also I wasn’t around much considering a gr00m3r was running around and ruining the record of ragnarok fandom. I didn’t rlly feel like posting. I also lost the motivation to even post here. I think I just didn’t rlly post because the characters I like aren’t really well liked by the fandom (ex. Adamas) so I felt like if I came on here and yap about him, I would get no interactions so I just quit 💀I mainly just reposted from friends. I came to tumblr mostly cuz I wanted to expand but also make new friends. Anyways I hope the record of ragnarok fandom here recovers and becomes better 🙏
