My Holidays spent at Himachal Pradesh

For this mid semester break I took a trip to Himachal Pradesh with my family. We explored one of the favourite tourist spots first—Manali. This was the first time I could freely take a stroll on a snowy mountain even though, to be frank, it was quite a struggle at first as I kept stumbling after every step. When we reached the peak, we were given sticks to each one of us, rental sticks that we were supposed to return afterwards. My brother and I could barely hold our excitement and threw each other snowballs. I’ve always imagined snowballs to be fun but to be honest when you are hit, it hits hard. Somewhat that’s fun too. Our next destination was Shimla. While I was just getting used to the icy paths, I wasn’t aware of the rocky way leading up ahead of the journey. That day I wore boots with heels. Heels weren’t too big but it was the perfect imperfect choice of shoes for that place. Somehow I managed, somehow. We went up and above with each step and engaged in fun activities like zip line and go-kart. Later, we visited the Mall Road there and it was very scenic at night as the houses on mountains afar glimmered at us. The whole place was lit and it was a beautiful sight. Next day, I felt a bit dizzy in the car and took a nap and after I woke up we had already arrived back at home. Recalling the trip is still so refreshing and I’m so glad I got to do so many new things and especially, with my family as it made it more fun-ner! For next time I’ll make sure to be prepared with a suitable pair of shoes and make more good memories like this.
