Watch out for fake IMVU staff!
Real IMVU staff will never threaten you, accuse you of things, or ask you for your credit card number. They will already have their own files on you, and they can pull these files up at the click of a button when they need to. That said… If anyone should threaten you or harass you for your info while claiming to be IMVU staff, don’t grace them with a reply! Just block and report the scammer so that the real staff can do their job and protect you and your account!
One of my friends fell for these scare/bully tactics and gave their credit info. They were forced to cancel their debit card and get a new one, so I want to say something about it and stop the same from happening to anyone else I know!
