What happened to his mom?

His mother is still alive, she’s been in a mental health treatment program (p much long -term residential treatment, she has schizophernia) , kinda got strong armed/pushed into being institutionalized  by Aspen’s father who /heavily/ stigmatized mental health issues. 

She’s been under treatment/improved a lot over the years with medication and treatment and not being around a terrible shit ass husband., he’s started visiting and calling her more. 

And because of his father Aspen /really/ kinda had reluctance to admit any of his own mental health issues, or the snide comments ‘you’ll be just like your mother’ 

His relationship w/ her is a lot better then his father, 

and will get better tbh now that he’s finally unlearning some of his views on mental health issues and working on seeking out therapy and medication for himself

I live... on a farm, I don’t really have neighbors. Well, my only two neighbors ‘relatively’ close is an very elderly couple who live a ways off, then a younger couple with a dog. 

Ian’s been decorating regardless of the unlikely event of any trick or treaters, but Dali and Mags will be coming to hang out and a little hang outs for halloween.

WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN TO 57 NOW THAT TPP7 IS OVER

Currently? 

His boyfriend Ian has moved in with him, and he’s taken in Dingo after 56′s untimely death. 

After a severe break down he had a month or two ago during the long silence from Habit, he remained quiet about this other then the careful hint or mention of an /issue/ in his personal life, but Ian had found out/found him in the midst of this, and insisted Aspen finally starts seeking help, and he’s started seeing a therapist, and taking medication. That’s a huge step for him as he’s never had help for his mental health issues as it was highly stigmatized to him by his father. 

A loving boyfriend poking him to take his meds and help him keep from dipping deep down into paranoia and worship of habit, then dingo as a reminder of Johnny. His death was /very/ sobering, with how he felt about habit and his own untreated mental health issues he could of wound up the same, and that was really another big wake up call for him. 

It’ll take him a long time to fully bury the events of tpp especially between the guilt of people he felt responsible for, and things he did for it. 

Still he’ll keep in touch with his favorite friends and mates, especially 41 since they don’t live to far apart. Soft trips to drive down and visit them, or occasionally asking if they want to spend a weekend at the farm to unwind. 

He gets to grow and try to mend the wounds, but there’ll be that festering little wound in the back of his mind for a long time. That and the guilt of some of the rabbit’s he feels he’s personally failed. 

Then trying to ignore what he’s done to his home town, not that he’s really in contact with many people in that small little town, especially as so many were exposed to that video..

He’ll heal, he was given the chance to, but those scars will linger.
