Just had a random idea for dc x dp.

What if when Jason came back and he was all “grrr pit madness”, what if it wasn’t actually pit madness. What if, while he was dead (cuz time in the infinite realms is different) him and Danny started datin and, as some ghosty culture/tradition thing, once they got serious enough, they exchanged cores. And the reason he’s so angry when he’s revived is bc he’s been separated from his core. But he doesn’t remember his time in the IR so he just thinks it’s pit madness. Got the potential for angst bc when Danny finally finds his missing bf/fiancé he’s totally forgotten him, meanwhile Jason is just confused as to why he’s less angry round this total stranger.

I hate hate HATE all those 2edgy 4me theories about kids shows. Like Angelica dreaming up the rugrats, or the ed, edd, and eddy children being ghosts, or literally anything that takes a lighthearted and fun kids show and has to turn it into some tragic take of rape or murder or misinformed mental illness. So you know what? From now on I’m gonna do the exact opposite. Every cool grim-dark show is now because of a bunch of children.
