Ateez Reaction to you being an actor and dying in a scary movie

Kim Hongjoong

Hongjoong had no idea what the movie was about but as soon as he walked into the showcase, he was super excited. The movie trailer made it seem like you were the main character so that would only mean you made it to the end right…? Hongjoong’s mouth was wide open the entire time until boom- you were gone… Even you were a little bit shocked because the editing and sounding was just so good, “Y-Y/n… W-What- I- Oh my god!”

Park Seonghwa

Seonghwa was so invested in the movie that he completely forgot that you were right next to him. Obviously you knew what was going to happen, and knew what your outcome was, so ever so often you took some glances towards him to see his expressions. Seonghwa’s eyebrows were furrowed and his lip was in between his teeth as he saw the face hiding in the bushes behind you. Seonghwa didn’t even blink when he saw you get grabbed and pulled into the bush where he heard a blood curdling scream. Seonghwa let out a shaky breath and looked beside him to make sure you were still there with him. You knew he was a little bit too startled to really say anything, so you gently grabbed onto his hand, “It’s okay. I’m here.”

Jung Yunho

Yunho knew that typically nothing really ever ends good in scary movies but he was really hoping that you would make it to the end. Yunho was holding you tightly and his attention was fully on the screen as he scanned the area surrounding you. Yunho mumbled something about you being okay but as soon as the words left his mouth, he let out a loud gasp as you suddenly got dragged to the side, “B-But! But y/n! I- NO!”

Kang Yeosang

Yeosang would hate to say it but… you were the typical “airhead” in the movie and he already knew how it was going to end from the very beginning. Of course you had to be the character that thought it was the best idea to split up- He watched in anticipation as you walked into the attic with a slightly annoying “Anyone there?” when you heard a whisper from the dark corner. Yeosang looked at you with the biggest cringe on his face and you couldn’t help but giggle slightly as you directed his attention back to the screen, “All I know is you better not d- OH MY GOD!”

Choi San

San doesn’t like scary movies at all but whenever he found out that you were in it, it would be a little bit mean not to watch it right? San hid behind you most of the time, wanting you to protect him. Every once in a while when he saw you get into a little bit of a problem he let out a soft, “nonono…” from all the suspense he was feeling. San shoved his head in your neck, making sure to peak out a little bit to continue to watch the movie, and he was on the verge of tears. He blinked for a split second and there you were, lying on the floor with blood surrounding your body. San let out a sigh of dismay before tears pricked his eyes from all the emotions “W-What happened- I- C-Can we stop watching now?”

Song Mingi

Mingi didn’t want to watch it. He knew you were one of the main characters, but it was a scary movie! Everyone knew Mingi wasn’t a fan of scary movies and you made sure to let him know that there was absolutely no pressure to watch it. He thought long and hard about it and he knew how much you loved supporting him and the other members, so he thought it was only fair to support you too. If he was being honest, the only time he would pay attention is whenever you were on screen or heard your voice… he wasn’t going to put himself through that for someone who wasn’t you, and because of that he was probably more shocked when he heard a loud scream and blood coming from out of nowhere, “Y/n?! What happened?! I- You were just there!”

Jung Wooyoung

Wooyoung was the type of person who constantly talks during movies, especially scary movies because it makes him feel a little bit better. He needs some comedic relief. He let out the typical, “No you idiot! Don’t go in there!” and, “Why would you split up?! You know how that always goes?!” Wooyoung was lowkey heated at you for making all the typical dumb decisions that happen in horror movies and you really had to remind Wooyoung that you were just following the script, “It’s okay babe, I know in real life, you would be the survivor.”

Choi Jongho

It had been so long since you’ve seen the movie since it was going through the publications so you were low-key on edge the whole time and Jongho was so confused because he didn’t know why you were so stressed. Jongho was really enjoying the movie though! He was super proud of you for being in an actual movie! You were doing so well and you were a lead character that was really making some character growth, so he got attached to your character as well… not that he wasn’t already attached to you… but you were actually one of the good characters. It was towards the end of the move, you were about to make it. You were so so close! You were about to throw up from the suspense and Jongho was tense as he saw you turning the key to the car and he almost cried because it wouldn’t start. There was screaming from the other people around you and Jongho had his face in his hands until he heard a scream come from you. The color drained from his face as he saw you get snatched from the car and pulled back into the forest, “NO! YOU WERE SO CLOSE! ARE YOU OKAY? LIKE IN REAL LIFE?! WAS IT SCARY?!”
