The Dornings do Disney!
Our Disney adventure begins!
For the first half of our trip we stayed at Caribbean Beach in a Pirate Room! It was so much fun, any child (or child at heart) would love to stay in this room!
This day we took it easy, but before bed time we headed over to the Polynesian for a dinner at Kona Cafe! For dinner I had chicken stir fry which was delicious and for dessert I believe I had some kind of cheesecake.
The next day we headed over to Animal Kingdom for a day of fun! After a few rides we made a stop for dad's favourite and top pick, Yak and Yeti! Mum and Dad both got seafood curry and I got tamarind chicken :)
For dinner that night we had reservations to fancy it up at Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian, dad's first Signature dining experience at Disney!
We all started our wonderful meals with entrees. I had calamari, mum had lobster bisque and dad had a cheese plate which he claimed was the single best stand alone meal he had ever eaten! For our mains I had prawn pasta, mum had fish I think and dad had lobster! It was quite a completely fantastic meal I must say! And to finish it off I got a chocolate coconut creme brûlée to go! :)

MUM AND DAD COME TO VISIT PT I
This post is long past overdue and I am still so stressed with phone issues, but on the bright side I got all my photos back! :) So I can update on my families trip to visit me!!
I am expanding my collection of Magic Band colours and now only have Orange left :) So start our adventure I packed up all my belongings and headed over to my godmother's house where we would stay for the first few days!
Day One was spent at the Wizarding World of HP, which no one else had yet experienced! I was so excited to share this place with mumma and papa because last time they were in Orlando it was a month off opening. We rode Forbidden Journey and ate at the Three Broomsticks for lunch, I tried the Shepherd's Pie which is my new favourite item on their menu!
And after a fun filled day at Island's of Adventure we had Japanese for dinner, which is my absolute favourite!! I got a bento box with rice, California rolls, tempura and dumplings :) yum!
Day two we jetted off to visit the city of St Augustine! We really wanted to go back here so dad could experience the beautiful city this time. For lunch we ate at a cajun style restaurant which was very good! I have never really eaten this kind of food before because it doesn't really exist at home, but it was an interesting and unique experience!

Spring is in the Air!
So I have a new phone!! And thanks to iTunes, all of my lost photos were recovered! :)
Festival of Fantasy Parade Begins!
This is legit the best parade I have ever seen! I absolutely loved it, and I am not a huge parade gal. It featured characters and amazing floats from Peter Pan, Tangled, Frozen, Brave, Princess and the Frog, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and much more! I didn't get many snaps because I was too busy filming but here are a few!
Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot
Every year Epcot celebrates the Spring Season by holding an event that celebrates both fresh produce and the flora of the season!
They even had a butterfly house!!! This made me super excited and nostalgic because I have fond memories of visiting the butterfly house at the Melbourne Zoo where mum works as a child!
Last but certainly not least, the FOOD!!!! The food was delicious. We all got passports to get a stamp at each stall we eat at!
Frushi (fruit sushi) and chicken hand rolls in Japan
Three Cheese Manicotti in Italy
Watermelon and Passionfruit Slush in Florida
Some of my friends even got bacon cupcakes in the USA!

How is it Already April?!?!?!
So my phone got stolen at house of blues (trust), so I lost all my photos of my families visit :( So I am a bit delayed in updating about that until I have all my mum's photos. Anyway in the meantime lately I have been picking up some more shifts to fund a new phone.
Here is the result!
I WENT TO THE ISLANDS AND SAID ALOHA TO THE POLYNESIAN
I WENT DOWN SOUTH TO THE BAYOU AND SAID HEY Y'ALL TO PORT ORLEANS
And I was also deployed....
SO I WELCOMED GUESTS ABOARD THE SEAS AT THE YACHT AND BEACH CLUB
And my amazing good luck recently meant I accidentally turned in my name tag at costuming with the port orleans costume, so I will be Karis from Durban, South Africa for the next two weeks, yay!
In other news, I got trained in a new position called expeditor a couple of weeks ago. And I also earned my trainer pin :) My hard work is paying off!

Mumma's visit Pt 3
Day 6: St Augustine
So today we got out of the Disney bubble and headed to the beautiful city of St Augustine, the oldest city in mainland US! It was absolutely beautiful, I didn't want to leave. We jumped on the trolley that takes you round the city to all of the tourist spots.
All of the old houses and churches were all so beautiful!
We jumped off at the Lightner Museum and had a look around. The building used to be a lavish resort hotel including bath house, and the first level used to be a large indoor swimming pool, it was insane!
Day 8: Old Key West, Saratoga Springs and Hollywood Studios
After staying with Ree for a couple of days, we headed back to Port Orleans, this time staying in the bayou section of the resort :)
After arriving in out new room, we headed over to do a part of resort hopping/exploring. We went to explore Old Key West first!
Next was Saratoga Springs. They were both so pretty! :)
From Saratoga we caught the bus to spend our final night at Hollywood Studios!
We ate dinner at Hollywood and Vine which I have to say I was pretty unimpressed with. For the cost I didn't find it to be a great value buffet! However, other than that I had the most fabulous night evs! The Osborne Family Lights are now officially my favourite Christmas activity at WDW!
Saying goodbye to mummy was very hard, however, her and dad are back in just over a month so I cannot wait for that next adventure!!
Other than that nothing much is new. My CP friends have left :( and the new ones are just arriving these few weeks. It was very sad saying goodbye to all of them, but I am looking forward to new friends and new experiences soon! One of my biggest phobias when coming on the program was also realised, I lost one of my best friends on the same day all the cps left. My dearest Aurora will be very missed <3
