MARTHA FORD SELL THE TEAM

Year after year I get my hopes up for the Lions and year after year, I get disappointed by this dumpster fire of an organization. I love the Lions with all my heart but every year it is something new and they end up being one of the worst teams in the league. 

Many people think that Matthew Stafford is the problem and those people lack a knowledge of football. One person does not make the team awful especially when that one player has no effect on how many points the other team scores. Matthew Stafford is a top five quarterback in the league and the face of the organization and will be until he retires and is eventually enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

The main problem with this embarrassment of the team is the awful decisions that they make every single year. Drafting a tight end who can’t catch in the first round? Terrible. A relatively unknown linebacker drafted in the second round when they could have had him later? Makes me want to throw up. Trading one of your best defenders for chump change? Ridiculous. 

I can’t put all the blame on the organization just 99% of it. The other 1% can go towards the refs and the amount times they have screwed over the Lions and made them lose games. Hey Roger Goodell you're corrupt and so are your refs figure it out man. 

Martha Ford for the love of god sell the team. Jeff Bezos was interested and has the money to make this team a contender every year and SURPRISE another dumb decision by the team I love. Let someone with a knowledge of football and aggressiveness to make this team that every Detroit fan wants it to be: Super Bowl Champions. 

Sell the team and fire Goodell. Go Lions.
