Introducing….

My Little Pony: Eternal Horrors!

My own little infection au based in Discord’s home dimension.

Finally, after asking for months, Discord agrees to let Pinkie Pie see his home dimension. In the outskirts of his home live immortal beings called Eternal Horrors, some who share DNA with ponies. When Pinkie Pie gets in contact with a Horror’s salvia, she becomes patient zero in the infection.

She soon begins to hear whispers from the Horrors and loses her sanity. She begins to teleport at random, disappearing and reappearing without warning. Twilight has yet to figure out how to contain Pinkie at this stage..

To be continued and possibly made into a comic if given enough interest! 🤗

One of the most important things to unpack and unlearn when you’re part of a white supremacy saturated society (i.e. the global north) and especially if you were raised in an intensified form of it (evangelicism, right wing politics, explicit racism) is the urge to punish and take revenge.

It manifests in our lives all the time and it is inherently destructive. It makes relationships and interactions adversarial for no good reason. It undermines cooperation and good civic order. It worsens some types of crime. It creates trauma, especially in children.

Imagine approaching unexpected or unacceptable behavior from a perspective of "how can this be stopped, and prevented" instead of "you’re going to regret this!”

Imagine dealing with a problem or conflict from the perspective of “how can this be solved in a way that is just and restorative” instead of “the people who caused this are going to pay.”

How much would that change you? How much would that have changed for you?

#one vent chat I’m in mentioned a friend of theirs cut them off for using the phrase ‘from the ghetto’ #in reference to how people in their predominately white school liked to act #I find that it could’ve been a good learning opportunity to talk about how that phrase affects those whom it may reference #though of course their friend is within their right to end a relationship #but the person wasn’t using the phrase maliciously nor intended to hurt #but they did #and I think it would’ve been better to communicate than to react and make both parties feel offended #but hey people will do what they will during their lives

hi. hello. i have to have an extra super fun dental surgery on may 20th. : ) it's gonna cost me a lovely $3k. it's not going to kill us but it is going to make things uncomfortable for the next however long it takes me to pay it off because uh. afterwards i'll also have to get a crown done. :') i don't know how much that's going to be yet but that'll be happening in july.

anyway to help make it suck less i will be doing pwyw commissions for the foreseeable future. this'll be pinned until i'm done with'em, once it's not pinned anymore that'll be the end of it.

i think i cracked the code on converting regular underwear into packing underwear:

easily
