Five Financial Rules I’ve Learned

1. If you have to negotiate/convince yourself that you need to buy something, you REALLY don’t need it.

2. Put AT LEAST $35 into your savings each paycheck

3. ALWAYS go for the cheaper option. Yeah, you like the $28 high-end cleanser better, but you’re trying to save, so get the $8 instead.

4. If you aren’t entirely sure if you need the thing that you want to buy, wait a few days and see if you still think you really need it. 

5. Don’t spend money every day, unless you absolutely have to. Try to go at least two days a week without spending money if you can.
