Huh, right I’d never actually considered that Manaka was fully defeated but that does make sense. So in other words, what’s being suggested then is that she was just a copy of the ‘original’ that Proto Merlin’s hinting at, and Arthur’s being sent alone cause he’s the expert in defeating this Beast or something?  Guess it’s similar to FSN with Angra being a potential Beast but probably won’t show up as one (unless in a different host) in FGO.

I won the 2004 Hugo Award for Best Short Story for an H. P. Lovecraft /Arthur Conan Doyle mashup fiction, so fanfiction had better be legitimate, because I'm not giving the Hugo back.

Or the 20O5 Locus Award for Best Novelette. I'm not giving that back either.

On the one hand I really Beast VI to show up in a Prototype event. On the other hand, that seems less and less likely each day, with them shunting them off to Arcade to avoid doing a Proto event so they can have them in an Arcade collab instead. Ideally we’d get both; one for each half. 

Beast VI for Arcade or LB6?

It could go either way.

Beast VI for LB6

Pros

Number match.

Arthur (Camelot related) is hunting them.

The "Bells" foreshadowing (Nero's interlude, Caster Arturia's bond CE).

Cons

The nature of the Lostbelt doesn't match/fit with the nature of the Beast (overindulgence, gluttony, goals).

Caster Arturia set up as hero doesn't make sense if the enemy is Manaka (Arthur's foe) and Mother Harlot (why would Mother Harlot be in some fairy-controlled worldline?).

Beast VI for Arcade

Pros

The fake demon gods have dragon heads and are a shadow of the enemy.

Holy Grail is being referred to as the "Golden Chalice/Cup" (which usually is associated name brought up with Beast VI).

The fake demon gods were said to be living organisms, Manaka is said to be "mother of monsters/beasts."

Manaka's goal is an eternal paradisical Camelot and the game poster looks similar to Camelot in Heaven.

Proto Merlin appears.

7th Singularity is called "Prosperous City Babylon" with a similar symbol to the Proto Gil's Master building. Mother Harlot could be the Beast here instead of Tiamat since you know, Whore of Babylon and all.

Manaka is a wunderkin mage, if someone can recreate or at least trick people into thinking is similar to Goetia, it's her. She was also saved by Goetia's manifestation so would know how that looked.

Cons

The Beast chain phenomena didn't manifest in this world, so the enemy might not be a Beast? Unless these Beasts simply came from elsewhere and attacked it (also possible!).

"Chaldea" right now is more suspicious than external foes. Their existence seems impossible (and Merlin warned against trusting them to Bedi in Camelot).

OP doesn't match at all with Beast VI plot unless there's going to be a twist related to Mash.

If Beast VI (both sides) is in Arcade, LB6 will have a Beast, anyway. Kirschtaria's warnings about a calamity similar to the "god" can only refer to that, IMO. Likely Lostbelt Merlin as Beast IV (also foreshadowed a lot) which lines up with Caster Arturia's vague Merlin statements (he disappeared; her joke about seeking a way to kill him could be foreshadowing for a dramatic confrontation) and the whole "He can only keep his human feelings/appearance if he feeds on human dreams" when humanity is nearly extinct in that Lostbelt. Plus Takeuchi mentioned Merlin is still one of Nasu’s favorites in their latest interview, sometimes when they bring up names, the characters involved get a future big role (they mentioned Nobukatsu, for example, and made me think that he’ll be playable soon, and he was). Merlin’s “Fou suit” CE and rabbit ears can also be foreshadowing.

Edit: If they are Arcade, the eventual (inevitable) Arcade collab will include them.

I’ve looked into this theory as well and I do agree with the two Beasts of Revelation being the two halves of Beast VI. However I think the ‘Dragon’ is actually Tiamat. The description of rising up out of the abyss matches with what’s mentioned in Revelation and there is of course the fact that she’s a dragon and is known as the mother of dragons. Her Nega skill is said to be similar to Beast VI’s Nega skill, and her one is Nega Genesis, so we’d have Genesis and Revelation connected. And with Beasts I and VII as part of a set, it does make sense that others might be parts of a set as well. It’s also important to remember that the Babylonians share history and geography with the early Bible. And of course we have the Whore of Babylon and the numerous times that Babylon is bought up in the Bible which is the main reason Babylon has been as remembered as it has throughout history. 

And that’s not even touching the ark or Jesus stuff...

As for who the second half of Beast VI is after Mother Harlot, current theory is Merlin since he uses the moniker ‘Mr. Sheep’ a lot and there’s the famous backstory for Merlin in how he was supposed to be the Anti-Christ but that was stopped because he was baptised at birth. He could easily be seen as a prophet of sorts as well, and we know he has Beast-like abilities that he got somehow. Coming from the earth can mean being the son of a Demon since they’re elementals, beings born from the earth. 

As for Lord Satan, I think the term is used mainly because all the Beasts are ‘devils’ of sort in various religions. The name was made up by Douman but seems accurate since all the Beasts seek to tear down the current human order in some way. I don’t think it’s supposed to signify that they’re separate from Lucifer or that they’re the biblical devil. They did need Douman’s help to find the Foreign God to being with, so I can’t imagine they’re all that powerful on their own either. 

So been thinking about Beast VI from Fate Prototype and a small theory is that L and R will be based on the two Beasts from the Book of Revelation (which we already known is ridden by the Whore of Babylon). Basically the first Beast is the one with Seven Heads and came from the sea (which could probably be the Primordial Sea/Tiamat in Fate). Meanwhile the second Beast "came out of the Earth" and is said to have "two horns like a lamb", and speaking "like a dragon". It also makes people worship the first Beast and is associated with the False Prophet.

The two Beasts aligned themselves with the dragon in opposition to God. I guess in this case, Beast VII would be the dragon. Than again we don't really know much about the Abrahamic God in Fate and Nasuverse (hell if there even is one considering everything). It could be possible that "Beast of Shame" mentioned by King Hassan could possibly be one of them, Beast V, or both. Caster of Limbo does refer to Beast VII as "Lord Satan" so there might be a connection there. There's also the fact that sometimes Satan and Lucifer are separate but connected beings, with Satan being one of God's angels who is a judge. So it may be possible that Beast VII has a L and R too? I would honestly say this more of an observation rather than a theory considering I'm sorta a newbie Fate fan. Not to mention the Ultimate Ones and Gaia/The World considering Type Mercury might show up in Lostbelt 2. Hell shouldn't the Ultimate Ones arrived in those worlds of the Lostbelts? Well, lets see where this goes than. You guys got any thoughts?

It is possible that it isn’t his servant but just someone of Grand level from the Lostbelt. The way that he talks make him sound more like the Lostbelt king. Nasu does like to do mis-direction with servants and masters, such as Medusa in FSN, but we haven’t really had something comparable to that since. 

I’m pretty sure that Tezcatlipoca is going to be Grand Berserker, given King Hassan referencing him (smoking mirror) in his mats, but so far none of the crypter’s servants have also been LB kings, and Daybit’s servant is confirmed to be Grand (which, how the hell did he pull that off?). That also begs the question, which threat did said Grand Servant get summoned in response to? Tamamo Vitch still hasn’t reached full Beast stage (apparently she’s the reason Super Orion got summoned) and there’s Beast 7 and ORT.

Gods can’t be Grand Servants unless they’re named Romulus-Quirinus. His profile makes a big deal of how he’s a super special exception that only gets the okay because he’s both of human origin and his god of humanity status allows him to stay human even as a god. It implies that having only one of these two conditions isn’t enough.

As for what Daybit’s Gzerk could be, all we have so far in terms of hints are his 4 textboxes of dialogue.  Asclepius was using Yama's divinity to raise the dead to attack us. Gzerk appears, beats them effortlessly, and says:

"Yama... That's Ye Motian, right?"

If Ye Motian is the name he recognizes Yamadeva by, that leaves us very sure that he's Chinese. He then continues saying:

"What a joke of an idea is judging the dead? Death is consuming. Life is a tribute. Allowing freedom to the dead is an injustice my world doesn't have. Hence why I scarfed them all down. However, they tasted disgusting. This is proof I'm not eating anything decent."

Daybit then asks him to behave in someone else's Lostbelt and he replies:

"Yeah, very well said. I'll contain myself. I didn't come here searching for a gourmet meal anyways."

Putting the two lines together that's way too many words about eating for that not to be a clue. Not to mention he's implying eating is his form of attack, although we don't know if literally or metaphorically. So my guess is Chiyou. Chinese, fit for a Gzerk because he's practically invented war, and famed for eating iron and bronze. Chiyou was worshipped as the god of war by Qin Shi Huang and his successors, but there are still a few sources describing him as fully human, so FGO has the option to dismiss Shi Huang’s bullshit if they wanted to add Chiyou as a Grand Servant.

No idea how Daybit summoned a Grand Servant, though. That said, all we got about Daybit’s powerset so far is da Vinci in the Atlantis prologue saying the difference between Daybit and Kirschtaria is that Kirsch is the genius who can do anything possible while Daybit is the genius who can do the impossible, so him simply summoning a Grand Servant fits the idea of him doing the impossible.

Moriarty mentions he wants to prove his theory and formulas outlined his book, ‘The Dynamics of an Asteroid’, and it’s highly likely he’s running around out there, being one of the resistance members to leave Olympus. With LB6 seeming like it’d be pretty hard to get into and all the other Lostbelts destroyed, the most likely place he’d go then is Lostbelt 7. So what if we have to help him prove his theory by bringing in another asteroid to wipe out whatever’s there? How fun would that be? 

I can dream at least.
