Here’s some positivity for systems who split easily!
Not all systems function in the same way. Many systems may find that, for whatever reason, they split or form new headmates and alters easily! Splitting new system members often is nothing to be ashamed about, and systems who split easily deserve to be accepted and celebrated in our spaces. So here’s to all the systems who split easily!
☀️ Shoutout to systems with dissociative disorders who are easily traumatized and split alters as a result!
🌸 Shoutout to gateway systems who easily gain walk-ins or visitors!
💎 Shoutout to disabled systems who split new headmates whenever they experience negative symptoms of their illnesses or disabilities!
☀️ Shoutout to traumagenic systems without a dissociative disorder who split new headmates easily!
🌸 Shoutout to systems who split new headmates often without any idea as to what’s causing them to split!
💎 Shoutout to headmates with a high alter/headmate count due to how easily they split!
☀️ Shoutout to pyro systems who have experienced a large influx of headmates for any reason!
🌸 Shoutout to endogenic systems who are often forming new headmates, whether consciously or unconsciously!
💎 Shoutout to polyfragmented systems who regularly split new fragments!
☀️ Shoutout to mixed origins systems who commonly gain new headmates for a wide variety of reasons!
🌸 Shoutout to systems who struggle with a fear of faking due to how often and easily they split new headmates!
💎 Shoutout to systems who love the fact that they gain new headmates easily, and to those who often struggle with this aspect of their multiplicity!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with splitting new headmates often and easily. It’s okay to have lots of headmates or alters, and to gain them regularly with little to no outside influence! If your system regularly splits new members, we want to remind you that each and every headmate in your system is still special, unique, and wonderful in their own ways, and your system as a whole is beautiful just the way it is!
To those who split headmates easily, we want you to know that we see you, we support you, and we love you! Gaining new headmates often can certainly be challenging or exhausting, but we want to remind you that you don’t need to try and change or hide any aspect of your plurality in order to be loved and cherished by this community. We hope your whole system can find a future full of peace, happiness, and self-acceptance! Until then, know that we’re here for you and wishing you the very best. Thanks so much for reading, and have an amazing day!

Note
Semi-closeted plural culture is being "out" to your friends and partners, but knowing you can never come out to your family as plural.

In-System relationships are so horribly undervalued.
Whether it be romantic or otherwise, having a strong bond with your headmates is such a crucial step towards ideal functionality. Loving, understanding and caring for the fractured parts within your mind gives so many benefits. It may aid in the ability to comfortably switch, dissociation management, self-acceptance and love… It does an indescribable amount of good for a system.
This is a difficult achievement, as many systems often struggle with self-doubt, self-hatred, etcetera, or simply do not get along well. I fully recognize that! My confusion solely lies in those, whether they may be plural or not, who look down upon those who engage in things such as in-system romantic dating.
It truly saddens me that such a large accomplishment is dismissed as nothing more than mere childishness. There is so much more than that, it deserves acknowledgement and pride!

just in case you need to hear it today:
you don’t have to prove your plurality to anyone. if you say that you’re plural, i’ll believe you, and so will so many other systems on this site.
remember that for every fakeclaimer, there’s dozens of people who believe and support you.
your plurality is beautiful and valid and completely unique to you. no two systems experience plurality the exact same way, and that should be celebrated.

shoutout to systems who are distinct!!
to headmates who are all their own fully fledged people through and through.
to systems who enjoy this fact and enjoy this experience of being plural. who couldn’t imagine having to be any less than they are.
you are so valid and so cool, each and every one of you :) <3

Some reminders for systems out there:
- you do not have to fit stereotypes, even if they are formed by the community
- small systems are still systems
- large systems are valid and real
- switching a lot is valid
- switching only a little is valid
- not noticing when switches occur is normal
- being a headmate who is almost always in front or co-con is normal
- being a headmate that almost never fronts is normal
- having many fictives/factives is normal
- having few to no fictives/factives is normal
- having communication issues is normal
- having amazing communication from the start is normal
- hearing voices is normal
- hearing them only with focus or not at all is normal
- understanding headmates through different means, such as feeling what they feel, or having them write things to you is valid
- not fitting coined system roles is normal
- enjoying and fitting coined roles is normal
- almost fitting a term and using it to describe your role is valid
- having no name for your system is valid
- having multiple names for your system is valid
- having stretches of silence from your headmates is normal
- having moments of extreme activity from your headmates is normal
- being frontstuck happens! just do your best, you’re awesome.
- what you see online is not every experience a system has, and they are likely just as varied from other systems as you are, just in different ways <3
being a system is varied and complex for every single system, nobody and no system has to fit into a box to be real, don’t fakeclaim yourself based off of other systems experiences.

Everybody gangster and anti-fakeclaiming until it’s them fakeclaiming themselves. Yeah. That’s what I thought. Be nicer to yourselves.

plurality is not defined by switching.
plurality is not defined by headcount.
plurality is not defined by an inner world.
plurality is not defined by distinct headmates.
plurality is not defined by communication.
plurality is not defined by getting along internally.
plurality is not defined by an origin.
plurality is defined by multiple consciousnesses/identities in one body. if you say you’re plural, we and many, many others will always believe you. no two plurals are the same, and no one can tell you what you are or aren’t 💞

alright, here we go! let me recommend you an obscure horror movie that hopefully, you’ve never even heard of. mostly post 2000, lots of slashers, lots of low budget stuff, but theres a good mix in the 30 films you can get as a result. please make sure you go check for any warnings you need before you watch whatever you get, and let me know if you like the recommendation :]
(you can find all 30 of the result options here!)
