Dodgers chose to brush over the question of where'd he'd been keeping the bag and threw a newly toasted marshmallow into his mouth before walking over to the control panel, wiping any residue on his fingers onto his uniform. "You worry too much, Bugs! we're not going to have to replace the ship." He pressed his fingers seemingly at random on buttons and other parts of the control panel until the alarms fizzled out and they were left in silence beside the crackling of the fire. He turned back to face Bugs, hands on his hips and altogether looking much too pleased with himself. "See? Good as new!"

“ehhhh not burning the ship down is overrated. Don’t we all need some action in our lives? Something to really get the blood pumping, you know! a shipboard fire is perfect for that.”

 Dodgers wandered over to the small blaze, apparently unconcerned about the red warning lights that were beginning to flash on their large monitor. 

“Plus”

He said, pulling out a bag of .. marshmallows? from apparently nowhere and holding one loosely above the flames with his hand.

“Great campfire substitute.”

"Correct me if I'm wrong captain, but uh... is that supposed to be on fire?" // hullo !

“If it wasn’t meant to be on fire, then it wouldn’t be on fire, Bugs! Honestly, you have a lot to learn.” Dodgers shook his head and looked over at the small fire that he’d somehow managed to start on the bridge. This was exactly how things were supposed to be. Definitely.
