thinking about minho and newt in the books tonight

first we have this moment from the first book which happens just after alby dies:

with newt being rightfully shaken and upset, and minho decidedly focusing on their next course of action

then this (slightly longer) moment from TST where a similar thing happens. newt grieving the loss of seven gladers, and minho immediately recognizing it as a disadvantage at their chances of survival/getting to safe haven.

and then there's this, from TDC, after meeting newt at the crank palace:

minho snaps at brenda and storms out of the room and suddenly what happens next doesn't matter to him that much, does it? because newt isn't next to him anymore, and losing him is simply too much.

The fact that Nicky and Aaron are both backliners protecting the goal is somehow so incredibly beautiful. They protect Andrew during the game like Andrew protects them outside the game.

I seriously HC that Andrew and Aaron end up living not too far from each other as adults. Almost like fate refuses to separate the twins after doing them rotten the first time around.
