Referring to the ask that claims that your angel dust redesign when he isn’t dancing (that’s what the outfit is right?) isn’t feminine enough,

I don’t dress feminine all that much anymore but if I had the confidence I would definitely wear something like Angel dust in your redesign (I’m afab for reference and I dislike that people think not super revealing clothes/darker color pallet means it’s unfeminine and vice versa) idk if that makes sense, also in general I love your redesigns of the cast so far overall they look super unique and I love your world building around them

THANK YOU!!! I was kind of going for like. A “slutty” version of what men from his time would wear? While yes I think when he was alive he would’ve leaned more into the full suit mafioso look, since being in hell he’s become more of a, for lack of a better word, manwhore.

He’s got the popped open collar, the short shorts, and recently I’ve started drawing his gartered high heeled boots with some fishnet tights. He wears makeup, his messy eyelashes accentuated by the classic “Jessica rabbit” purple shiny eyelids that a lot of femme fatale toons had back in the day! But he still looks put together and vintage!

I made his body yellowed instead of stark white to go with a “nicotine yellow/washed up” feeling and put more emphasis on how he’s not from a recent decade and has kind of rotted his body from substance abuse.

The “toon” angle comes from him being from the 40’s yes, but also because he’s from New York City, a prime hub of media and new age movies. Looney tunes were taking off, wartime cartoons were being shown, etc etc, but there’s a deeper meaning to it too. It’s part of his punishment. Hes never going to be taken seriously no matter how much he wishes it, he’s either an object for someone else or something to laugh at. He’s a toy. A joke. A toon.

Regarding the illness, I hope you make a swift recovery.

I had the flu last October and it felt like I had been electrocuted, shot and beaten up underwater.
