Another video of some of my baby leeches in their haunted house; this kind of shows almost their full range of movement styles! When people ask what a pet leech “does” I think “well what does a pet fish do?” They can swim like fish, but they can also pretend to be inchworms or just waving tentacles.
They do spend a lot of time resting, usual in a pile because contact with other leeches gives them the same serotonin rewards that humans get from social contact as well. They all get really active like this when their water is refreshed, as if they think they’re now in a new place they need to explore.
“What? Like, a disabled protagonist? How would that even work? How could someone with a disability be the hero in an action show?” local anime trash boy wonders while sitting next to his box sets of Full Metal Alchemist, showing no hint of irony or self awareness.
