Hi! Sorry I've missed the last couple of days. I've been trying to get over a cold along with having to work a bunch of hours. Anyway, what are some of your favorite things besides gymnastics? - GSS

Hmmm I’m a high school student, so besides gym I have a ton of homework everyday :’’’-) so I study a lot, but I also really like graphic design Photoshop things, learning languages, and hanging out with my friends/family :)

hmm I used to watch a lot more WAG, but I do MAG, so after 2016 Olympics I started watching MAG a lot more closely

Hello! Man! this is a tricky question... I honestly don’t think I can only choose one, so I’ll make a brief list of my faves.

Currently: Mustafina, Hurd, Leanne Wong, Tingting, Tanigawa brothers, Shirai, Gabby Jupp, MDJDS, All the Italian juniors, Andrade, Saraiva, Moldauer, Belyavskiy, ZJY, Xiao Ruoteng, Eremina, Murakami, Mikulak, Chen Yile, Yang Hak-Seon, Oliver Hegi, Uchimura, and anybody who competes a quad full on floor 

also this list in is no particular order, I love them all :)

Gymternet Secret Santa

It’s November so time for gymternet secret santa! It will be basically the same as every other year, and for those of you who are new to the gymternet, this is a great way to make a couple of new friends!

To sign up, you need to reblog this post. You have until 10pm on the 26th of November GMT to do so. Then I will randomly assign everyone a URL and message you who you have at some point before the end of November. Every day from December 1 - December 25 you will message your person on anon something nice to brighten their day (so it goes to their inbox, not the messaging system). Feel free to go the extra mile and make blogs for them etc as some people have before.

Pretty much the only rules are:

- you need to have your ask box turned on so the person who has you can actually message you

- you need to have anon enabled 

- you also need to actually send your person messages/please also answer messages you receive. Every year I was organised this, there have been several blogs who haven’t received anything from the person who has them or doesn’t have their person responding to their messages which really sucks, so please, please, only sign up if you plan on being able to fully participate

Reasons Mulan is the most underrated Disney movie ever:

The original girl power movie

seriously Disney hasn’t topped this yet in terms of a female role model

she didn’t start out particularly desirable 

like the matchmaker literally told her no man would ever want her

her motivation was completely to protect her father not a man

Mushu is the best animal companion ever

he thinks the horse is a cow for half the movie

calls out ridiculous “manly” mannerisms and expectations

male lead with a name and  actual relevance (looking at you Cinderella)

Shang is a manly soldier but also an awkward teenage fuck

Shang’s privilege as the general’s son is plainly called out
