Is there gonna be a season 3
Hello anon! I am so sorry for not replying to this sooner! There is a little update on season 3.
Currently, I have not played any book in choices since the second chapter of Open Heart. I haven’t been on Tumblr in who knows how long. I also legit haven’t written anything in???? (minus college papers but nothing creative or fun). So I’m not really sure what’s even happening rn within the choices universe.
That being said, usually Whodunnit happens in the fall around Halloween (to make things spooky) but I’m actually studying abroad in London this fall which I’m stoked about. Whodunnit does take up a chunk of my time which I’ve always enjoyed because I like to be busy and this keeps me busy. But I really want to focus on being in London and making connections and such.
I really hope I can catch up on all the new stories and adventures happening in choices this summer since I’ll be at my college doing literally nothing in July cuz I have to take classes this summer to graduate on time. I hope this will inspire me to write some more and get me focused on the next season. So while the next season of Whodunnit will not be happening this fall, I hope (and plan) to have the next season around January 2020 (winter themed murders anyone???).
Also for anyone wondering yes I still have the Q&A video I’m taking five years to edit it idk why I’m just focused on other shit for no reason lmao I filmed it right after my last final last fall and I was super sick so I might redo it I don’t really want to tho but we’ll see.
I have big plans for season 3 cuz I enjoy being on the FBI’s watchlist so don’t worry there will be a season 3 it will just being happening later than I would have liked and I’m sure y’all want it just as much. Thanks for your patience!

I hope you enjoyed your stay...
The final three prepare for the final riddle and begin together. They run around, reading each note, jotting down their ideas, and figuring out what each note says. Finally, they finish one by one, and as they put their final papers into Lester’s mouth, their doors are unlocked.
“If you wish to stay alive,” The voice booms once more. “Go to where the killer is known to thrive.”
They each scramble up the stairs, no one quite sure who’s first and who’s last. They rush to the killer’s room, hoping to survive.
LILY screams and the final two look over to see her falling off of the balcony overlooking the foyer and fall to her death, an arrow lodged in her chest.
Standing in the doorway of the killer’s room, the winner looks over.
“It’s you!” KENJI remarks, the killer smiles an evil grin.
“Great job,” MATT snarls. “Looks like you proved yourself worthy.”
“But why?!” The winner asks, his heart pounding in his chest.
“Why not?” Matt circles him. “I’m a world famous movie actor, I have some money laying around. I knew Lester’s secret, I even knew Kamilah’s secret. And a murder mystery party is dull unless something exciting happens, am I wrong?”
Kenji looks around, realizing his host is nowhere nearby. “Where’s Kamilah?!”
“Oh your dear host?” Matt laughs and turns on the light switch in his room. The ceiling opens up and Kamilah’s body falls onto his bed. Her heart is sewn onto her hand.
“They always did say, take the head, or take the heart.”
Before Kenji can respond, Matt takes him out, and Kenji’s world goes black.
Birds chirp in the distance, the sun shines on Kenji’s eye. He rubs at his eyes as he wakes up they wake up, wondering if what he just experienced was all just a dream,... or something more. His apartment is the way her left it, a bag of clothes sits by the door, but his TV is on. He reaches the for the remote to turn the sound up. Matt Rodriguez stands in front of a newscaster, his hands cuffed, cops surrounding the manor. Giant red letters flash on the screen that read BREAKING NEWS.
“Is there anything else you have to say?” The news reporter asks Matt.
He smiles happily at the newscaster before he looks directly into the camera, almost like he’s looking into Kenji’s soul. “Thanks for playing.”
Congratulations to Choices Whodunnit’s Season Two winner, KENJI! I hope you all had just as much fun playing as I did creating the game! Thank you all for playing and for watching at home! Keep an eye out for an update on season three and the Q&A video coming out soon! If you have any questions you want me to answer go ahead and let me know!

The Final Riddle:
The final three have finished up their riddles! Here is the mega riddle they were forced to solve!
The final three find themselves in front of a three-way path.
“I hate to say it, but I think we have to split up,” Lily says, her voice is barely above a whisper.
“I hate to agree with you,” Kenji says.
“I’ll take the left,” Matt sighs, the lights go from being completely off to providing a low dim, not helping them very much.
“Guess I’ll go right,” Kenji states, he hugs his arms against his body.
“Good luck… mortals….” Lily mocks the voice that seems to have left them. Matt and Kenji give her a half hearted chuckle and they each begin to go down their own path.
The temperature is only getting colder, the remaining guests shivering as their bare feet touches the cold ground. Soon, they reach the end, the door of the passage closes. The three of them stop, realizing they’re alone. Without warning, the lights in their rooms flash on and blind the guests. Their eyes adjust, Kenji standing in the middle of the formal sitting room, Lily standing in the living room, and Matt standing in the dining room.
“Are you all up for a challenge?” the roaring voice comes through to each room. “As you’ll see, you’ll be joined by some very special guests.”
Lily gasps as she sees mannequin of each of the dead guests. Kenji and Matt has a similar set up in their rooms. Each past guest stands with a board in their hands, something different on all the boards. Their bodies are disfigured, they look the way they were killed. Lester’s head hangs off of his neck, Damien’s body is blue.
“Time for the final showdown… are you ready for it?”
LESTER: The first thing you must do is put us in order and you better do it fast. Who died first all the way to who died last.
DIEGO: Now, Egyptian mythology helped these murders bloom. Tell me which mythological creature belongs to whom.
JAKE: It isn’t time to run, but who entered the manor one by one?
MAXWELL: Killer things went in and out. But how did I put them all out?
KATE: While I was rather mean on the night of Halloween, who were the remaining few?
ESTELA: You all think you have the right to brag? Well all your friends are in body bags. Where did they all gag?
KAITLYN: Is there something more you want to know? For each murder, where do you all go?
TEJA: You were all a pawn in my game, but each dawn who was the newest to blame?
DAMIEN: Hopefully this will be a free pass but surely who the host could be.
SLOANE: Matt, Kenji, and Lily. There is one more thing I must ask: solve this clue and take off the killer’s mask:
Tumblr media
The winner will be announced in just a few moments...

Final Riddle Update:
Our lovely Mortals will be doing the final riddle tomorrow... Because of time zones they’ll be taking it separately. So mortals, if you wish to win, you better not share the riddle with each other.
As soon as everyone finishes the riddle, I’ll post the riddle here for all to see. After that, the winner and the killer will be announced...
Need some tips on being ready for the final riddle? Check out the letters from your killer, and catch up on the murders, maybe even look back at the other riddles. See you tomorrow...

Final Murder: When Hell Freezes Over
Matt’s eyes open slowly, the room dark and freezing. He tries to rub his hands against his body but finds they’re tied to a chair. He struggles, trying to see if he can get himself free with no luck. He notices he’s wearing nothing more than a swimsuit.
“Hello?!” Matt screams, not being able to see anything in the dark.
“Over here!” Kenji’s voice rings out next to him. “Lily?! Damien!?”
“I’m over this way!” Lily calls out, her voice next to Kenji and Matt.
“I’m okay!” Damien yells, his voice seems slightly further away.
“What the hell is going on!?” Matt asks, struggling once more to get his hands or even his feet out from the ties.
“Don’t ask me!” Lily says, she also struggles. “What even was that thing that… attacked us?”
They all fall silent as they struggle to get their hands and arms out with no such luck.
“You all may need your energy later today,” the voice from earlier rings out, processed and just as evil as before. “But of course we need one more person to be killed off don’t we?”
“Kamilah?!” Kenji yells trying to get help from their beloved host.
“Your sweet host will not longer be able to help you,” the voice screams in the darkness. “Let’s just say she’s tied up right now.”
Without warning, the lights flash one. Everyone squints as their eyes adjust. In the light, they all notice they aren’t wearing anything more than swimsuits. Their breath comes out hot and heavy, freezing as it touches the cold air. Each of them sit in their own chairs, tied up with no hope of getting out. They look at one another, trying to figure out where they are. The room around them is white, no signs of an entrance or exit.
“Do you guys think…” Damien breathes. “Do you think Kamilah is the killer?”
“Oh you silly mortal,” the voice rings out, echoing off the walls. “Your host isn’t the killer. One of you is. Let’s narrow down the suspects, shall we?”
Above their heads, they hear the ceiling open. Looking up, they each see a bucket steaming with… who knows what. The final four begin to struggle, one by one. They scream as the buckets are lowered. They curse, their hearts pounding in their chests. After a few long moments, the buckets dump over the guests. They scream as liquid is poured over them.
“It’s… just warm water?” Lily asks, her breath still chilling in the cold room.
But the screaming continues and they look over to see Damien screaming in pain and agony. His skin begins to burn and freeze all at once. His back turns a bright shade of red, his screams soon vanish as he let’s the strange liquid take over his body, his hair freezing in place. He falls limp, his head hanging forward, his heart stops as he slowly dies.
“Liquid nitrogen,” the voices informs them. “Congrats to the final three. So far, you’ve proven yourself worthy. Now, time for the final riddle.”
Like magic, their ropes tied around their arms and ankles come undone. Lily, Kenji, and Matt stand, rubbing their wrists. They huddle together, and before anyone can say anything, part of the wall opens up, revealing a hidden passageway. They look at each other before they cautiously walk toward the passage. Kenji steps in first, followed by Matt and Lily. They are engulfed by darkness once more.
Damien, I am sorry but you have been eliminated. Lily, Matt, and Kenji, you are the final three. Time to show us what you’ve got. Message me ASAP to figure out a date and time that works for all of you for the final riddle. Good luck, mortals.

And then there were four
Hello to the final four... It seems like Matt, Lily, Damien, and Kenji have all proven themselves worthy of getting the title of survival. Of course, two more must die, one of you is the killer, and only one will win. Let’s recap the last half of the murders shall we?
Diego and Kate had to miss out on the Halloween fun. Too bad for them, they didn’t get to solve the double murder. Both were killed with mercury, Kate also having a healthy dose of hydrochloric acid. Because it was a double murder, I of course had to represent two Egyptian Gods. Matt and Estela were able to tell me Set and Nephthys are brother and sister who ended up marrying each other. They were also able to solve the riddle. Of course this left Teja and Matt scared, even though he solved the riddle. Estela had the best theory overall and was able to survive another night. Kenji was the main suspect for this week just like the weeks before.
Poor Teja. At least she got to experience the ball I threw for you all. But this left her dead by the end of the night. While clumsy from the hydrogen peroxide being injected into her body from the needles in her shoes, what ended up killing her was a blow to the head when she fell on her back. I played nice with you this week, giving everyone the riddle clue, and telling you all that Kek is the concept of darkness. While Damien was able to have the best theory, Lily, Jake, and Estela were left out in the cold. This week, Jake was in the spotlight for possibly being the killer.
You mortals must have felt so stupid, because Jake was the next to die. It also happened to be our host’s birthday. Now she’s legal to drink and smoke as much as she wants... not that it stopped her before. While our host was lighting up, so was Jake. With a mixture of flaxseed oil and isopropyl alcohol and pentane in the shower head, when our host blew out her special lithium candles, Jake was set aflame. Matt and Kenji were able to tell me Hathor is known as a symbol of celebration. Matt also had the best theory, this left Damien and Estela scared, also making Estela the most suspected person this time around.
Of course, Estela wasn’t the killer. By injecting her with DXM and causing her to hallucinate, I was able to bring her outside, hang her upside down, and kill her with a gun to the neck. Matt once again told me Apep is known for chaos and evil. This week, I decided to be as evil as can be. None of you had the best theory and you will all scared going into the finale. Because you all thought Estela was the killer, you were left up in the air as to who it may be. This prompted all of you to assume you’re the problem in the manor.
Guess we’ll figure out sooner rather than later who the killer is. As for our guests, they’ll be left in the dark until then. Lily, Damien, Kenji, and Matt, see you all tomorrow. One of you of course must die before the final murder. See you all then, my dear mortals...

Murder 8: How it was done
Damien, Kenji, Lily, and Matt enter the dining room. They sit next to each other, two by two, and their final dinner is served. They’re quiet, picking at their food and shaking their legs underneath the table. Kamilah finally enters, after what feels like years of waiting. She doesn’t need to gather their attention as they turn to face her. She gives them a weak smile and looks down at the letter in front of her.
“I first want to say congratulations on making it this far,” she doesn’t make eye contact with the guests. “You’ve all done well so far and you’ve proven yourselves worthy. That being said, the killer was not impressed by your theories, and has decided that none of you deserve the title of having the best theory.”
Lily, Matt, Damien, and Kenji eye each other, one of them deciding that the others don’t deserve to live. Without another word, Kamilah opens the letter and reads how it was done.
“Damien, Kenji, Matt, and Lily. Congrats on making it into the final four. Unfortunately for Estela Montoya, she was unable to make herself worthy. So, let me tell you how it was done. It began last night, like these murders usually do. I snuck into Estela’s room, where I injected her with an hallucinogenic drug; dextromethorphan, also known as DXM, found in medications like cough syrup like NyQuil. While cough syrup and the like won’t necessarily cause hallucinations, DXM in a constatrated dosage will cause some hallucinations. After injected her with DXM, I then woke her up. I didn’t bother to cover up my face, since she would be dead in a few moments anyway, and of course she was hallucinating. I informed her I knew a way out of the mansion, a way where we could all escape. She quickly jumped out of bed and followed me, her eyes wide, and her walk uneven. I lead her out of the mansion and into the backyard. Because of her walk, she dragged her feet in the dirt, making it look like there may have been a struggle, instead this murder was essentially hand free. The small forest in the backyard was perfect for hiding a trap, specifically a tree sprung trap. Walking by her side, she stepped right into the sprung trap which wrapped around her ankle and rose her up high on the tree. She hung upside down, her mind fuzzy from the drugs. She didn’t struggle much, her body more limb and relaxed. Her getting caught in my trap also triggered the gun I had set up that would hit her right in the head. The gun was attached to the string and when pulled would trigger the gun and shoot her in the head. I had estimated her head hanging too high and instead it hit her right in the neck. Hitting the artery, blood flowed out of her and ended up killing her. I hid the gun in the dirt nearby along with the bottle of DMX so no one would find it and walked away, without a drop of blood and leaving me relatively clean. Four of you are still alive, but only three will make it to the finale.”
Kamilah quickly hands out the spared or scared cards, her hands shaking as she does so. She nervously pushes a piece of hair behind her ear. The guests open their cards.
Lily: Scared
Damien: Scared
Kenji: Scared
Matt: Scared
They flash their cards to one another, everyone turning paper white as they turn their attention back to their host. But when they look in the spot she used to be standing in, she’s not there. In a frustrated state of mind, Damien jumps up and rushes for the door. He pushes on it, but nothing budges. The other three get up as well, trying the other three doors that lead to various parts of the house.
“Are we seriously trapped?” Lily asks as they all continue to push and pull on the door. Kenji finally gives up and grabs a dining room chair, throwing it against the window before it bounces off without a scratch on the glass.
“What the actual hell?” he asks in surprise.
Matt attempts to open the window without any success. Lily spots an air vent in the ceiling and stands on a chair to reach it. She tries to remove the grate but it’s stuck to the ceiling just like the rest of the exits in the room.
“Well hello mortals,” the lights dim as a muffled, deep, and overly processed voice fills the room. The voice is unrecognizable, the identity hidden from the guests. “Looks like you got yourseleves stuck, hm?”
The remaining four look at each other before they rush to the doors and begin banging on them, shouting for their host to help them. They push and pull, scream and cry, but their luck seems to be fading as the voice continues.
“I’m impressed by you four, but there is still a killer among you, a survivor, and two more deaths that must occur before your nightmare can end. But first, how about we turn off the lights and see who’s up next.”
The lights go out with a click and their screams become more intense. The doors finally swing open but they are greeted by darkness and a pair of glowing red eyes.
“Who in the f--” Kenji doesn’t have time to finish his thought as the glowing red eyes come to each of them and they are wrapped up in a sheet of darkness, their minds become fuzzy before they faint one by one.
Guests, you are ALL up for elimination next week. The final murder will occur Wednesday, December 5th 5pm Arizona time. There will be no location clues, instead the final three will work with me to figure out the best time to hold the mega riddle, deciding who will win the game. Until then, you may NOT speak as your character to the rest of group until the 5th. No speaking of the finale or what’s to come. I will also be filing the Q&A video soon. If you have any questions you’d like me to answer, let me know and I’ll make sure to include it. Good luck, mortals and see you next week.

Riddle 8: Killer get your gun
“One, two, three, and four,” Kamilah smiles at the remaining four. “This may be one of your last riddles, so make it count.” The four guests stand outside, shivering in the cold and ready to get the riddle over with. “I hope you’re ready, time to give it your all.”
“You were thrown into chaos in the start of the game. I rule chaos and evil, and the arch enemy of light. If you look for me that’s all you will ever see, but even if you don’t look for me, I will still be lurking nearby. Who am I?”
When you have the answer message me. Only ONE person will get the riddle clue this week.

Murder 8: Hang on
Estela and Damien are the first to exit the dining room, nervous about getting eliminated, and upset that they’re so close to the end yet they may dead before the morning. The other three follow, excited that they’ve made it into the final four, the taste of victory on their lips.
“Let’s hope the killer takes mercy on us,” Damien says to Estela, a half hearted joke that doesn’t make him or Estela feel better.
“Yeah, let’s hope,” she gives him a small and sad smile.
“Well I really wish we could all make it to the final,” Lily says. “We’ve all worked really hard to get here.”
“Most of us,” Matt points out, the reminder of a killer among them sends shivers down their spines.
Without another word, the guests head to their rooms and get ready for bed. The manor becomes too quiet once more.
BANG!
Lily’s deep sleep is disturbed by a loud sound. She gets out of bed and throws on a jacket before she leaves her room. She looks up and down the hall and sees Matt sticking his head out of his room. “You heard that too?”
“How could you not?” Kenji pops out of his room, speaking to both Lily and Matt.
“Where in the hell did it even come from?” Matt asks as they group together.
“It sort of sounded like the backyard,” Lily speaks and they rush down the stairs into the cold and dark night. Lily snatches a flashlight from the kitchen on their way out, shining it into the small woodsy area on the back of the property.
“I think I see something,” Matt leads the group, noticing marks going into the forest. They rush down the path that’s been poorly carved out, fresh from whatever or whoever was just there.
Lily’s flashlight bounces off something shiny and she stops it, blood on the ground. She moves it up and sees Estela, hanging from her ankles by a rope attached to a tree. Her legs, arms, and neck are limb, her body lifeless and dead.
“Oh my god,” Damien rushes out of the house, meeting up with the others. Kamilah isn’t too far behind.
“Well, looks like the most suspected person is dead,” Kamilah points out. “Guess it’s time to head to your locations.”
Estela, I am sorry but you have been eliminated. Congrats to Lily, Damien, Matt, and Kenji for making it into the final four. You have until tomorrow, 4pm Arizona time to tell me which location you would like to go to.
